The Science of Car Racing (The Science of Speed) Paperback – February 1, 2014

We got this from the library and loved it so much I came here looking to buy it. My 7 year old loves all things cars and wants to know all about how they work. This book explains things well with lots of pictures and labeled diagrams. Things like aerodynamics, strokes of the engine, how energy is dispersed in a crash and lots more are explained. My 7 year old struggles to read it independently bc there are lots of unfamiliar words, but he still enjoys looking at the picture and reading what he can alone. When we read together we do a small section at a time bc there is a lot of information to take in. I’ve been looking for a book like this for a long time. We love it!
