Exactly as described. Runs large and are adjustable
Comparable to knee braces twice as expensive. Well made heavy duty adjustable. Definitely runs LARGE. I ordered a size down because I read the reviews and a lot of others stated they were running larger than expected and they were right. I could have even gone to a medium but that might have been too small so I'm happy with what I got. My hubby is having knee surgery soon and really needs the support. He is 5'11 250lb has thick legs. The large provides plenty of room and is adjustable. He adjusted it as much as it would go and it provides good support. This is while wearing it under his pants. He is going to try wearing it on the outside of his pants to see if it can be comfortably worn that way. If not that's fine. I'm hesitant about sizing down anymore because too small would be a waste of time and this one does adjust firmly but it's at maximum tightening ability Hope this is helpful. All in all well worth the price for sure. Others like this are priced at 59.00 this one was 26.00 same quality as more expensive ones

WOW!!!!!
Over a two year period I have purchased six different braces in an effort to get relief for my wife who has a patella injury. Two of the purchases were from "professionals". I have purchased the remainder online through Amazon, based on features and reviews. All of the braces had two major problems. First problem is that they all slipped down!!!. The second problem is that they all were uncomfortable. In many braces, the strapping wrinkled and narrowed, increasing the discomfort. Some had narrow straps that only added to discomfort instead of support. In addition, about half of them were very difficult to put on. I'm an engineer and can deal with the problems, but it's very difficult to accept that thes devices were put on the market. Pity the person that has to put it on without help! Today, the BodyProx Hinged Knee Brace arrived. Inside the shipping envelope was a sturdy plastic bag with a slide zipper. That gave me a good feeling because I felt that this company wasn't just slinging out product, but made me feel that they take pride in it. Then, there is a "Thank You" card from"Lisa", offering to resolve any issues that I might have. Been there before, but it was done so tastefully that I really believe that BodyProx is serious about it. Next, there is an "Instruction Manual". Well, it's just one piece of paper, about 8" x 5", printed on both sides with color photos of the proper way to put it on. I thought it was well done and provided some helpful information. And then I looked at the brace. The main tabs on the body of the brace are substantial, and the brace material appears to be ventilated for comfort. There are rows of "wavy"material along the top and bottom edges meant to keep the brace in place. Four straps (two for the top and two for the bottom) snug up the brace, the straps are wide and easy to attach to the D-ring. Putting the brace on my wife's knee was simple. Unlike so many other braces, getting the right placement and tension was fastsimple and intuitive. The best moment was hearing my wife say "It feels fine."!!! I understand that this is an early on review. However, having fought braces and their failings, having tried modifications to improve slipping and comfort, I can only say that this is a very well thought out and well made brace that sports a reasonable price.

Good support
Very sturdy and provides the support I need. there is some bulkiness to this brace, but it’s worth it!

May want to size up if close to next size
I originally ordered a size that included my knee measurements as instructed on the seller's page how to measure. It was on the upper end of the range. Once I tried the brace on, however, it was quite snug and uncomfortable. I returned it, hassle free, and reordered the same brace but in the next size larger. It fits great! Comfortable and not too snug. The Velcro straps are very grippy and secure. It has not been a sliding-down problem nor bunching up under the knee due to the open back. My knee feels secure, stable and protected while walking with a Rollator and reduces pain due to bone-on-bone osteoarthritis. Another brand I had gotten elsewhere had metal hinges that started squeaking annoyingly after about 2 months of use. There is an opening that appears to be able to reach the hinge area to oil if it starts to squeak...but hopefully that will never happen with this brand. This style (not necessarily the brand) of knee brace was recommended by my physical therapist. I will be telling him about it at my next session so he can tell other patients who need something similar.

Supportive Brace
Good brace, got it to help with some ligament injuries. There are 6 Velcro straps, 2 to hold it on your leg and 4 more for adjusting the tightness or support. It also has metal hinges for additional support at the bend of the knee.

hinged knee brace
No instructions on how to put on.. Had to find something on you-tube.. Also hard to put on by yourself.. Best to have a third-hand.. But works ok once it's on..

Great Support & Flexibility, Too!
Terrific knee brace! It’s very supportive, doesn’t move around when you walk & is light enough to be worn while running. The strap system is intuitive & very easy to figure out, and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Sturdy, but could benefit from some improvements
I would have loved to give this 5 stars, the straps & construction are very sturdy, they stay put really well. The only problem is the patella opening is not very structured. It doesn't provide compression on the knee cap at all, does not fit snug over the knee and the ring inside doesn't feel as firm as other knee braces I've tried. I do have an issue where my thighs are very large and my calves are small, so knee braces have been challenging to fit as it is. This may work better for someone who's thighs are closer in proportion to their calves. Still, for only $29.99, it's pretty good.
