These controllers might be cheap - but they actually are pretty well made!I was surprised. I have been burned by cheap controllers on amazon before; so I felt like i was taking a gamble with these when I bought them - but having used them extensively now, I can say with certainty that these controllers are good. They are well made, they feel good - admittedly, I haven't held an "official" nintendo gamecube controller new in some time so it's a little hard to compare them to the "real thing" - but they feel good, the buttons work as you'd expect, they're well built, for the price. I will probably buy another set to have a complete four player smash setup ready to go. So yeah; im no pro, i'm no good at wavedashing or tight execution i just like the game. If your'e some sort of crazy smash enthusiast then hey, maybe you'll notice a difference but I think these are great. My only real complaint is that I wish the cords were a little longer.

Look, these are 3rd party controllers, you're not gonna get the quality of a Nintendo licensed product here. That being said, these are pretty dang good controllers. The buttons feel pretty solid, the sticks feel good, and the weight is just fine. The only negatives I can see are that the cords are very short, and the Z button is very clicky and different. Other than that, you get 2 surprisingly good controllers for a very good price, what more could you want?Edit as of 27MAY19I really just came back to say that I am beyond impressed with these controllers. My above statements still stand, but these controllers have lasted longer than any other 3rd party controller that I've ever had. Seriously, They're still going strong. I'm not saying I'm constantly using them and beating the ever living crap out of them, but they have gone through countless very intense smash rounds, and I still have not had any major issues. Seriously, get these controllers. They are absolutely worth the small price.

I honestly love the translucent purple color which is why I chose it in the first place. It’s like any other GC controller so I have no valid complaints.My only complaint (and this is not even a rational complaint because I am weird) is that I use this controller with modded games, and with some modded games the Z button does not work, but with any vanilla game, this is a perfect controller. So I will gladly give it 5 stars, and would buy again

Pretty awesome controllers for the price! They definitely feel third party. I was very impressed on how they play and feel. I bought them for the shell because I plan on switching some stuff from it. In the conclusion, the color that I asked for and the feel of the controller... Its an awesome product!

Everything about this controller is pretty much perfect for a cheap replacement controller. Everything works as intended, the control stick has a perfect amount of resistance, the buttons all have a satisfying click.The only issue I have is that the travel distance for the buttons is clearly larger than the original Nintendo version of the controller. But once you can accept it and get over it, you'll find it doesn't affect gameplay at all.Great value, highly recommend if you need a quick replacement controller!

I have nothing bad to say about this controller, it has a very nice design and the buttons and control sticks become more flexible with your play style very quickly.It feels high quality and no cheap plastic and the buttons don’t emanate obnoxious loud sounds when you press them (Usually a sign of a cheap controller) and feels really good in your hands.Edit Note: Although I still standby the fact that it’s not cheap plastic and feels good to hold, I bought this controller back in October and then it stopped working in December. Big bummer.

I only got this for the shell and it works alright you need to melt or cut off plastic for an og board to fit in but i like how it came out only wished the plastic was molded to fit an og z button and not a 3rd party one but you get what you paid for.

Good value aftermarket controllers using them felt really good very comparable to original game cube controller. The only thing is the weight is slightly lower than og controller that being said trigger feel nice slightly heavier spring almost not noticeable unless directly comparing, joystick are good have same texture and feel as original they even got the buttons as close as possible slightly taller but feeling good. cable a few inches shorter than og. In my opinion ver good value. Have yet to see about longevity but so far so good.
