Solid Ergonmic Chair - Good Alternative to Herman Miller
This chair is very well built and is comparable to the Herman Miller Aeron C I have in my office. I wanted a good ergonomic chair for my home office but did not want to pay in the $1k range that high end chairs like the Aeron command. I went back and forth for weeks and decided to buy the GM Seating Enklave XL - I am 6'1" about 250lbs so I wanted something sturdy and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the Enklave XL - the base is solid chrome/steel, the pneumatic cylinder provides a range of height adjustments, the armrests have a solid range of adjustments up/down-forward/back-in/out, and the tilt mechanism and seat depth adjustment gives this chair a solid range of adjustments. The mesh seat is just firm enough and yet breathable and comfortable. Lastly, the headrest is a nice addition if you want to tilt back and close your eyes for a bit - a nice feature which costs extra in a Herman Miller. In short, I like this every bit as much as the Herman Miller in my office and if I had to do it over again, I would have bought 2 of these! A great option for those who don't want to fork over $1k for an ergo office chair but don't mind paying $500 for something sturdy, functional, adjustable, and well built.

Wasn't for me, might work for some
Had high hopes for this chair, but ultimately found that it was very uncomfortable for me, largely because the stiffness of the frame and pronounced backwards arc of the chair was murder on my my mid back area, despite the back offering good adjustable lumbar support and the built-in compression of the lower part of the frame. Lots of good adjustment made the seat bottom quite comfortable, despite the padding being middle of the road from a thickness perspective. Assembly was easy, took me about 15 minutes. Construction is generally very solid, though the design of how the arms attach is fairly deficient given the are attached by two too-short bolts to the frame that don't go more than 1/4 into the holes of the arms, so I can see both working out easily or stripping over time and ruining the arms to the point they wiggle and/or fall off with regularity - definitely an area for improvement.

hand rests stopped working
Easy to assemble; comfortable. But - one week into owning it, the hand rests stopped sliding up and down. You can pull them up, but they drop down right away, don't stick. So - no usable hand rests any more... Also, really heavy to move on floor, despite floor mat.

Solid chair - great quality
This is a solid, well built chair that was designed well. Lots of metal instead of cheap plastic, easy to assemble, high quality with many great features. Leaning back with flexible headrest is a great design. Sliding base helps you adjust for leg/back comfort. Two things they could improve upon are packing - the package is poorly packed and the box arrived in very rough condition because the parts inside broke through the cardboard. The second thing would be to include urethane wheels. The wheels they include are better than most cheap wheels, but the urethane is what good chairs feature and I feel they missed this one. Out of all the good, I ended up returning the chair because the base has some support that was too narrow, making my thighs have uneven support, causing discomfort. If it wasn't for this, I would have kept the chair. (I'm 6'2", 220#).

Great chair! GREATER Customer Service!
I have had this chair for some time now and I absolutely love it. It's one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever used and I sit at my desk for long periods of time. I love this chair so much that I was bummed when the right arm broke. I figured I would have to get a whole new chair but thankfully that wasn't the case. I was able to contact the manufacturer and I have honestly never dealt with a more friendlier and caring company in my life. They were curious to know what caused the issue so it could be fixed in future models but beyond that they offered to replace the arm TWICE. I have never had customer service be so understanding and outgoing in making sure the issue was resolved. I don't write reviews on here often but felt it would be wrong of me to not publicly acknowledge a good company and product when I deal with one. This company's approach to dealing with their customers goes far and beyond the norm considering how non-existent customer service has become with most companies. I will absolutely support this company and their products in the future.

Noisy
This chair is extremely noisy, drive me crazy, and way over priced. I do not recommend this chair.

Solid build, heavy, creaks like crazy
As others mentioned started creaking like crazy after about a month of use. To some people it may not bother, but to me its all i can hear now.

since I got this chair I can sit in my office for hours with no backpain
this ergonomic office chair is a preimum well designed chair to sit in a comfortable position for hours, it has great lumbar support and easy to adjust, the seat slide feature is great and solid built. i love it! will only buy this in the future. well worth the price, i would recommend this over the HM Aeron this is for less than half in price and has more features as a standard

Not sure if it's just my chair, as I don't see any other reviews mentioning it, but it makes an annoying creaking sound. It mainly happens (or is noticeable) when I make small movements or shift my weight, which is pretty well constantly. It isn't so noticeable on bigger movements, when I lean back or roll around, but mainly happens when I'm being quiet, so has become quite distracting. I'm debating if I should return it. The 15 year old chair it's replacing doesn't creak. In fact, I don't think I've ever had one that does. Otherwise, I find it quite comfortable. Adjustability works well for me. Seems generally sturdy.
