She loves her chocolate shop and I enjoyed reading about the passion she has for her work. Due to her kindheartedness she's the perfect owner for a lovely chocolate shop and I could easily picture her behind the counter. She's easy to love and attracts all kinds of wonderful people, which made the story immediately interesting. Emma has her shop and there are many people she loves, but she's still on her own at the end of the day. There's nobody who deserves to be the one for someone more than she and I couldn't wait to find out if she'd find her happily ever after.Caroline Roberts has written a fabulous festive story. I loved her warm and welcoming descriptions of the chocolate shop. The way she writes about chocolate made my mouth water. It's obvious she's done her research and the result is a story that will make people happy, who doesn't love reading about a delightful assortment of chocolates in a gorgeous chocolate shop? It kept putting a big smile on my face. The Cosy Christmas Chocolate Shop is a great combination of heartwarming winter romance and heavenly descriptions of the most amazing treats. I really enjoyed reading this tasty book.

3.5 stars ***Sweet Christmas story about a young woman slowly making her way. After her fiancée was killed, Emma had taken to wandering small towns & the beach with her dog. After traveling too far one day, she happened upon a charming cottage & shop. She remembered her dream of a chocolate shop, rented the cottage & signed up for a course to teach her. She's been making her way until her landlord raised the rent on her. While trying to come up with ways to make extra money, Emma meets Max on the beach. She's instantly captivated & he seems to be too. So why hasn't he called or come round?Max has been unhappy but wasn't sure shy. A chance meeting on a beach & Max has made some changes. He knew his relationship wasn't working so he broke up with her. Now he can approach Emma. However, he gets so busy at work, he looses track of the days going by. Will she forgive him?This is a charming Christmas story about love finding a way whether you are ready for it or not. There's enough talk about chocolate to make you hungry! I swear I could smell the warm sweet chocolate scent of the hot chocolate when it was described. The characters are well thought out. The story spent a lot of time setting up & getting to the point. Once the stage was set, it seemed to move a little better. I would recommend this story to anyone wanting a sweet Christmas story & loves chocolate!

I really enjoyed this book on Kindle! It's a sweet story and has you hoping things work out for the main character, Emma. There is all that chocolate too, that puts your imagination into overdrive. The town and it's people are endearing and the story is so good, I had to immediately order the second book in the series, even before the first one was completely read. Didn't want to let the characters go. Love this sort of story anyway, but this was one of the best I've read. Curl up with this sweet Christmas story and you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful story that blends love and chocolate. The love story is sweet and an honest example of learning to love after a loss.

I really enjoyed this. Charming and British, so descriptive. I could feel Emma's angst and taste her chocolates. Perfect after a day getting ready for Christmas.

This is a good book to read with a cup of hot chocolate curls up on the couch with a warm blanket.

Thank you to Harper Impulse for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I've read both of The Cosy Teashop in the Castle  book and I loved them so I knew I had to read this one. To be honest I was sold the minute I saw chocolate! The book also has a very festive pretty cover which is always a win in my book.Emma owns a chocolate shop and loves nothing more than creating new flavours and seeing her customers smile. Emma has suffered heart break in the past which  has closed her off to love. She doesn't see the point in going through it all again only to be left alone, again. That is until Emma meets a stranger on the beach on Boxing Day. Can this man break down Emma's walls and open her heart to love again?I love Emma's assistant Holly. She is so bright and bubbly she is perfect for working in the shop.This is a wonderful story that is excellently written. Caroline does an excellent job of creating these cosy locations. This story made me want to grab some chocolates and a warm drink and snuggle down.  This is the perfect book for this season.

Another enjoyable relaxing read from Caroline Roberts. I wish her books wouldn't end ... Highly recommend you read this one
