solid keyboard
keys are very bright, yet without a lot of ambient light being produced. each key has an LED. it has GENUINE cherry mx red switches, which are non-clicky, but it still produces quite a bit of noise as the plastics clack together. they make cherry mx red silent switches but hard to find it seems. but I like it very much, overall. my ONLY gripe is that the number lock key flashes when active. so if I want to use my number pad's numbers, it is flashing in my face, so I keep it turned off, which means i need to hit the numlock key every time i want to use the number pad. pointless and annoying. at least this keyboard doesn't look like a rainbow ufo taking off. simple, clean, low profile, and quality you can feel. Cord is a monster, with 2 usb plugs due to the pass-through. Probably didn't need that but you buy the closest thing you can find to what you actually want these days. Overall very pleased.

Works great for programming
I wanted a backlit keyboard to work with lights tuned off. There aren't very many cheap options available, so I just gave this a try as this was on a deal. I didn't want an RGB or colored light one so that its soft on eyes. This one does the work I need to do. I have a profile where it lights up the last pressed key, so if you are doing something wrong in writing complex passwords you know what key was pressed and you don't have erase everything and type again (I know that profile is security risk for people working in office, but for home it saves a lot of time).

Superb quality
I'm not a gamer, just a professional writer with big sasquatch hands. Keyboards seem very flimsy to me, much too light and easy to slide around, much too fragile, and lacking in durability. I tend to break them or get them to the point where keys fail and weird symptoms result. This keyboard is built like a brick outhouse and has great tactile response - perfect for a big guy who types thousands of words. It was probably designed to be beaten on by gamers but is perfect for anyone who wants a strong keyboard,

Lasted 2 years
+4 stars for features / price and the pleasant tactile feel of the key action. -1 star because the L key switch broke after 2 years, and the whole time various keycaps fall off pretty easily.

Cannot stop the keyboard from doing RGB light shows on the keys while I'm typing very distracting
Keyboard works great but it does these weird light shows or the keys pulse and do like a wave across the keyboard and they go on and off and go bright and go dark and they're like breathe with the lights go dark and go dim can't turn it off anyway keyboard is worthless. Can't stop this from happening Dell has no idea how to stop it do not buy this keyboard.I found out, that the software for the keyboard, can shut it down or customize it.

Pretty Good
Product may come with some keys missing, but they should all be in the packaging. Just pop them back in and you should be good. Quality isn't bad but not the best. Clicking sound is satisfying but not too loud.

Perfect for work typing
Very good keyboard. The keys are elevated so it’s super easy to type. I use this for work not for gaming and I love it. The keys are very responsive

Wish I could like it but can't
I love the feel of the Cherry MX red keys, but alas I have to return this because of two main problems. One, I can not figure out how to keep the Num Lock key from flashing all the time. I always keep Num Lock engaged and this keyboard represents that by flashing the key. I installed the software which lets me customize the keys in steady state but does NOT allow me to customize the locked state. I wish it could just stay solid because it's to distracting for me.Second, the right arrow key caps keep falling off anytime i touch it from an angle. It's fine if i hit is straight on but bumping from the top down, make the key pop off every time.
