Great taste!
Probably one of the more innovative treats coming from Hawaii nowadays. Reminds me of when butter-toffee macadamia nuts first came out. Nicely crunchy. A little bit on the sweet side but still nicely done.

They may be hot and the covering melted if bought in the summery
Very Tasty - It was June, and mine were delivered to the mailbox. By the time I got them out, they were warm, and the candy coating was melty. They were very good, but sticky. The next bag was one big clump when we opened it, since the candy on it had also melted, but now it's not sticky.

Bought 1 bag - delicious...2nd bag - horrible and stale
The first bag was really delicious, so I ordered a second which were completely stale and strangely chewy. Not worth the risk of getting a bad bag in my opinion. I'm visiting this macadamia nut plantation next month and will tell them so...

this is not acceptable if the food is stale and taste is bad.
I have ordered this item before and it was fresh and tasty. However, his package is stale and the company should be informed.

Because of where I live, I ended-up paying a ridiculous amount of money for these. $50 Canadian!! NOTE: I rated the "value for money" as a 5-star based on the cost of the nuts only - I didn't consider the amount I had to pay for shipping. I was suspicious about how much I paid in total so I got in touch with the actual company, Hamakua Nut Co. in Hawaii, and after calculating the exchange rate, border fees, and courier charges with the customer service guy over there, the amount came very close to $50! I attribute the balance remaining as the service fee to the 3rd party that I actually bought the nuts from. If I helped a small business - I'm happy to have paid the extra. However, I will not be paying $50 for a 10oz bag of nuts again - no matter how delicious ... and mark my words THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!!! Without a doubt, macadamia nuts straight from a Hawaiian supplier who specializes in them makes a HUGE difference in quality and taste.
