High beam was like a 50's atomic test
Don't do it! Low beam was purple and was barely bright enough for oncoming traffic to see me... High beam was like a 50's atomic test... However the beam pattern was a flat, piercing ray that gives you a choice of the street, or the horizon, but not both. Maybe it was a faulty unit.

I installed a pair in a Jeep CJ8. One was very bright, the other had a violet tint and about half the output.
