Very nice budget wireless mic setup
This review is for the Alvoxcon TG220 Wireless mic system (dual mic) I purchased the Alvoxcon TG220 system to replace my lav mic and Zoom recorder combo that I typically used. With this system it allows me the freedom to walk around and to have mics overhead without all the wires. I tested this wireless system with both the Zoom H1 recorder on the RX side, and also going directly into my Panasonic GH4 camera and both worked very well. Checking the recordings in post there is a bit of a noise floor but nothing that can't quickly be removed during post production. Pros: Super easy to pair the transmitters to the receiver The microphones overall sound is very good, not too bassy and not tenny. Lav mic holds on to clothing very well, and the headset is super light weight where you barely know you are wearing it. The range is excellent with these units, I can use them throughout our whole building and our building typically eats up RF signals pretty bad. Customer support has been very responsive with any questions I have had which gives me the impression that they actually support what they sell. Cons: Transmitters turn off after 20 minutes. ( contacted support and they are currently working to resolve the problem)(See Update) ****UPDATE**** After working with support they told me that the TX's will turn off after 20 minutes of no audio. I did test this to verify that it is in fact how they work and it did indeed stay on for over 1 hour when there was audio and if the audio stopped then it would power down after 20 minutes of inactivity. ****UPDATE**** Overall the Alvoxcon wireless system is a very good value for money for those looking to cut the cords on their audio recording system.

Great dual UHF kit with thoughtful accessories
I got this dual UHF mic kit to use with a portable battery operated PA amp (Behringer MPA40BTPRO). So far, I’ve tried the mic kit out but have not yet used it in the field. I will be using it to give tours in a bus in a few weeks. It will also be used for dance teaching and to MC events with music playing simultaneously. The description is not clear on a few things. It’s actually better than I expected. Receiver pairs instantly with the mics regardless of frequency change. There is an extremely clever mounting shoe adapter to use the receiver with a camera or smartphone. The mics are of average quality but great for PA use. I suspect a professional singer would want to use a higher quality mic. The mic transmitter body packs have independent volume controls (this part was not clear from the description given). This allows two people to be mic’d at different levels. In the event of feedback one just touches the volume up and down buttons together for instant suppression. I tested it with the Behringer amp while simultaneously playing music from an iPhone via Bluetooth through a different input in the amp. You would not expect Bluetooth and UHF to interfere but I wanted to make sure. They passed the test with flying colors. The construction quality of the parts of the kit is good. They thoughtfully include an adapter from 1/4 in female to 1/8 in male and 1/8 female to stereo mini male. The various pieces come in a die cut foam block in their box. I would suggest keeping this for storage. I would have loved the option of a small handle bag to store the components. It will be easy to get the headsets, lav mics and wires tangled. I intend to find one but keep the foam block to use with it. Overall this dual mic kit is well made, easy to use and works very well. I think it compares favorably to the Audio 2000 dual mic kit that costs 2.5 x as much. The Audio 2000 I’ve used had better mic quality but the receiver is much bigger and takes more setup. I’m not sure that quality difference would convince me to spend the extra money on it if my use was to be simple PA amp or PA amp with simultaneous music or video Photos show back of portable PA am with the mic receiver plugged in--very compact and easy to use. NB: I may obtain a discount by leaving this review but I believe my review not to have been influenced by this possibility.

Functions Great But Battery Doesn't Last
I am a professional speaker / trainer, so I spend a lot of time using a mic. I really want to love this product because the sound quality is fantastic. But the battery doesn't last very long. Some of my virtual workshops are 3- or 4- hours but they battery starts to peter out after 1.5ish hours. Sure, you can recharge them, but that can lead to some awkward moments as I swap out the receiver (there are 2 in the box, perhaps for this very reason) then plug the first one back in so that it is ready to go when the battery inevitably runs out on the 2nd one. Meanwhile, I need to make sure the transmitter is plugged in the entire time since I can't swap that one out (there is only one in the box), nor would I want to. Having to swap both out, at the same time or at different times, would just be too clunky. A simple solution would've been to use actual batteries. I'm genuinely scratching my head about this one. Battery powered lavs just make sense - safe, reliable and proven. Or, battery back up. Plus, we all know that the duration of every rechargeable battery starts to drop over extended periods of use. I'll add that the over ear headset starts to hurt after awhile and it isn't adjustable. I have to jiggle it around a bit so it isn't jutting out over my ears. Thankfully, I have long hair, so I can hide the fact that it is a bit loose sound my neck. I decided not to return them for two reasons: 1) despite the battery issue, they really do work very well and since most of my presentations max out at 2 hours, I often just leave the receiver plugged in at the start because I can easily unplug it with minimal disruption to my flow; and 2) I didn't really see a better option in this price range.

Exceeded Expectations, Surprisingly Really Good System
I’ve now had a lot of time using the Alvoxcon Microphone system here and I’m impressed with how well it performed for a dual mic system under $100. To see some of the mic tests, such as how it performs in noisy situations, out of sight, and distance, refer to the attached video. I actually host a YouTube channel where I review a number of cheaper budget microphone systems. Compared to some of the other mics out there, this is one of the best budget mics I’ve used. The sound is pretty clear, not muffled, and/or too nasally. Every now and then I would encounter some unwanted artifacts in the audio recordings, but at close range, barely ever. In my line of sight test with this mic, I was able to hear my voice over 200 feet away. Thought the listing on here says that the functional range 80 feet, in my experience, I was able to go way past that mark and still get decent sound in the line of sight. With objects obstructing the line of sight, I wasn’t able to get as good of sound far away from the camera, but it still performed well out of sight at close range. The feel of the headset on my head is ok, but the sound of the headset is pretty good, and in some situations may have even sounded better than the lapel mic featured with this system. For the most part, when wearing it, it didn’t feel like it was going to fall off my head, even when doing some movements. I like that this system automatically syncs the channels with the receiver when you change the channel. Another great feature is you can also control the volume on the transmitters. When plugging in the mic cables there is a screw connection that allows you to screw the cable on to the transmitter, locking it in place, protecting it from randomly disconnecting for what ever reason. The transmitters seem really well built with what feels like a metal body. Overall, I would recommend this system. I have used other mic systems that are hundreds of dollars more and this Alvoxcon system is not too far off in comparison to some of those systems, and in some cases may even be better, but at a much cheaper price.

Very easy to connect and has excellent range.
I have been looking for a wireless Lav mic system for my YouTube videos and decided to give this set up a try. This wireless mic system comes with everything you need to record two people at once which makes it great for interviews. The sound quality Of these for the price is excellent however it did have a little more noise than my rode mic but most people would not even notice it. These do a great job of blocking out noise and have an excellent range. I was able to connect to my dslr camera on the 2nd floor and go down 2 floors into my basement and the sound quality never degraded or lost signal which was amazing. I also tried to see how far I could go before they started to cut out and was able to go about 175-200ft! This set comes with two Lav Mics, two headsets, a ts to trrs adapter and a trss to trs adapter. In my testing the headsets definitely had louder audio but the Lav Mics sounded great as well. The transmitters both have a volume adjustment from 1 to 20 and after testing I will probably leave it set on 20. The Mic’s have a 3.5mm ts screw in type connector to connect to the transmitter and if you already have a Mic with a trs or trrs connection it will not work with the transmitter however the included mics sound good so you should not need to. This can be connected to a DSLR with the included TRS adapter or to an iPhone with the TRRS adapter. The receiver has a hot shoe Mount that could be attached to any hot shoe. Connection and pairing the set up is super easy, just turn everything on and it syncs automatically I was really impressed by how easy it was to connect. In my conclusion overall I would say this is an excellent wireless mic set up for the money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable way to get into making videos ,doing interviews or for a wireless intercom/loud speaker set up.

Worked in Sound check, and then never again
Well, I was hoping for something good, but nope. Connected it to my brand new camcorder using the correct adapter, did a quick five second sound check with both packs and both lapel mics, and they worked great. After that - Nada. I verified that everything was charged (packs and the receiver) Tried resetting them, tried turning up the volume, tried the headset mics - Nothing at all Shot a message to the manufacturer - heard nothing Needed these for an interview I am doing and now I'm fumbling for something that will work. Very disappointing. Looks like I'll need to return them UPDATE: Posted my question at 2:45 on a Saturday and didn't hear back until Sunday at 1030 PM. I work for a living. I explained everything that was doing in my troubleshooting process, (I work in electronics and computers - I KNOW how to troubleshoot electronic gear). Their response was "Take a picture and send it, and also submit a video showing your process and the performance issues - I already explained it. Also, my return window is already closed, so I'm just plain stuck with these. My view is that they are simply dragging out the support process. Terrible experience - and now I have worthless gear and am out the money. Do not recommend for any application

Well worth the money...however...
We just hosted an event with designer Thom Filicia and these mics were excellent for our needs. The sound was clear, no feedback or frequency issues. They were extremely easy to charge and set up with my equalizer. We used a set of 300 watt speakers from Alto for a space holding 100+ people and the event was a great success. Thanks Alvoxcom for the great mic system! Update!! Since using these mics twice now, there is a defect I wish to point out. One of the mics slowly drops it's output volume to zero after 30 minutes of use. This has happened twice, most recently during a meet and greet event with designer Bobby Berk. It was very frustrating to watch a celebrity struggle to be heard well into an interview in front of 100 guests. I'm hoping the manufacturer will assist me in correcting this issue.

GOOD AUDIO, TURN UP BODY PACK VOLUME TO AVOID WHITE NOISE
The Alvoxcon Dual Wireless Microphone System was surprisingly good for the $80.00 that I spent. I tested it using the camera in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. I had someone video me and another person speaking in conversation. We started at 20 feet from the cell phone camera and the sound quality was excellent. The signal to noise was not as good in this first recording we did because I didn’t turn up the body pack volume to level 20. That’s something to remember to check. But the sound is very clear and crisp. When we moved back to 40 feet, the sound quality was the same. Then further back to 60 feet and still no difference. There was no loss of signal at any time and the setup was very easy. Just plug it in and record. I liked the way it worked well for two people. It comes with adaptor, a cold shoe mount holder for the receiver and a dual wireless headset which I haven’t tried yet. The receiver can go with the handheld mic if you order the Alvoxcon CK220G grey handheld set together, like I did. I asked him to send the link to post the video for each review. Than I will ask him to pay extra for the time.

Excelentes.
Excelentes.

Perfect, Easy to Use and Works with my Sony Camera
Having the ability to interview two people with my video without having to share the microphone and the noise when they hand it back and forth is amazing. I only shoot for 30-45 minutes and so far the batteries have lasted that long. I had one little issue when I started using it with my camera is that there was a tiny little adapter female to male 3.5mm to make it work with a camera or computer. It was wrapped in tiny foam and I had not seen it when unwrapping all the chords and microphone. The company helped immediately to resolve my issue using Facebook messenger. They have a great product and what appears to be a dedicated support team.

Leider unbrauchbar
