Seems to only deliver ~ 50W per each panel
On a sunny day, EPEVER MPPT controller with one of these panel connected tracked maximum of ~ 50W (as read through RS485 port charging a battery which was intentionally discharged). GoPower panel, also rated 100W and similar size was maxing around ~ 90W. Unfortunately, GoPower is significantly more expensive.Short circuit current for GoPower seems ~ 4.5A while this panel was showing ~ 3.8 A, which is only ~ 17-20% difference, with similar ~ 20V voltage. However the maximum delivered power seemed to be about half.I also bought their 4x 100W kit, which had slightly smaller panels, and they seemed to deliver similar ~ 50W max per panel or ~ 90W per 2 panels. Also measured while charging intentionally discharged battery.Not sure what to suggest. At ~ 4x cheaper than GoPower, they are definitely a better value if the roof area is unlimited. But not delivering maximum possible power for a limited RV roof is a bit of a problem, since the power density is extremely important.
