Great leveling kit but no expecting more lifted
I’ve installed the kit in nearby local workshop it was easy i hope coming instructions with kit but not i guide mechanic guy by youtube video to find out the way ti install, After installed I felt the ride got lifted i notice tire got closer between them because short wheels base for ford explorer also you will notice aerodynamic for car will difference especially if there strong winds a a little bit slow in ride also will hear some noisy from wind if driving fast cause aerodynamics ,you will lost a little bit in stability while drive fast the car wobble even if you turn will not stable so be careful, i metered ground clearance with stock tire 265-60/18R is became about 225mm it was 193mm without kit, but not give me 3 inch exactly only about 1.2 inch

Very nice lift kit
Alignment is kind of hard to do after putting it in

did not work
Bought for a 2017 Police Interceptor Utility (Explorer). Took a while to get it into the shop for the installation. Bought new struts and rear shocks and installed all at one time. Took it to the alignment shop and had all wheels aligned. I noticed a clunk in the front end when I hit a bump. Took to 2 different lift shops, two different alignment shops, a repair shop that works on police vehicles, sheriff's office fleet manager and good off road shade tree mechanic. All said they could feel it but couldn't diagnose why. All thought it might be a bad strut. I finally took the front spacers off this week All the nuts were still torqued. Back to the alignment shop. The clunk on bumps is gone. With diagnostics, the cost of the kit, cost of alignments (3) and lunches for friends that tried, I have around $600 in paper weights. One of the spacer bolts twisted off when tightening down on the firewall also.

Quality parts but not the lift I was expecting.
Could not even come close to the tire size indicated in the instructions. The main reason is because it dramatically shortens the wheel base so your front and rear tires come closer together. It’s very noticeable in the rear. There are no adjustable control arms available for the explorer to correct this and the kit does not account for it. The wheels should be much closer to the center of the wheel well to keep it closer to stock spacing. I was told by the owner that it must have been installed wrong but I put them in touch with the shop and everything was done correctly. Then I never heard anything back after that. If you are okay with these issues then it’s a good kit. The ride quality is just as good and the parts appear to be good quality.

Almost Satisfied with this Kit
The Kit seemed to be of good quality, however, it only lifted the truck 1.5'' front and not 3'' as advertised! This is a bigger deal than it sounds because my mechanic ordered the recommended tire size before the kit was installed, to save downtime, and the front tires rub slightly even after he modified the truck as much as possible. Also, we needed the additional ground clearance on some of the job sites we visit. I regret not ordering a different kit, however, at this point with all the money spent, I know we'll have to live with it.
