AWESOME!!!
I wasn't sure what to expect but when received I was so excited to start. So far I've only used two of the tools but I have not been disappointed, though I do wish there was a way they could lock into place because I have had a knick or two. Don't let that close you off on buying this, once you learn and better know and handle your tool it becomes easier to use. Was sharp out of the packaging and fits perfectly in hand. Please use a glove(s)!!! As a beginner to whittling I had forgotten to put on my glove and the chisel went right in my palm. Once again these tools are sharp and safety is key but this is a great whittling tool and was beyond my expectations. Be safe and whittle on!!!

Works well
This is the second Old Timer knife/tool I have purchased in my life. The first was a two bladed knife I picked up decades ago and it still performs like new. I think this tool works well. It could be sharper out of the box, but I used it as is to make this simple spoon out of a piece of pine, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Though it wasn't super sharp, it did hold the edge it came with quite well. I have zero complaints and would buy it again.

It doesn't have a locking mechanism of any kind and is very sharp, right out of the box.
The lack of a locking mechanism keeps me from using it as a full time carver. It is a quality knife however, very sharp. As far as ergonomics goes, I'm pretty sure Old Timer knives are meant to be worn in over time, so there are a few uncomfortable ways to use it, but it would eventually become a trusted carver. Simply not the one for me.

It does what it is supposed to do for a reasonable price
This is a great little tool for someone who likes to whittle. I can't really compare it to the other similar product that costs much more, but I can compare it to the other single bladed woodcarving knives. This sharpens up nicely and holds a decent edge for a while. The tiny v-gouge isn't very useful because it will only make a very shallow groove. Perhaps with some shaping of the "V" it could be made more useful. All the other blades work just as they should. The scales are not rounded over, so it does get uncomfortable to hold after a while unless you wear a glove. I notice that there are a couple other listings for the same product, which are less expensive, but they won't ship to my address. I assume that is because I am in Massachusetts, and we have a lot of laws regarding pointy things. It would have been nice to pay $14, but $20 is still worth it.

Worthy of the title OldTimer
I gotta say I was pretty skeptical about this knife but when I put it to use on my first block of wood, it shredded right through it like butter. It is 100% worth the money.

Nice knife but cheap quality
Honest review time, both good and bad. I'm gonna go over quite a few things so stay with me and you'll see if this knife is for you. For a quick summary, it's a knife with a good idea, having all of your tools necessary for getting started in carving and such in one place, and on a budget, but with that budget also came with some very poor quality control issues and work needing done before use. I added several pictures for reference. I am happy that I bought it. Pros: If it's telling the truth, this is a high carbon steel that's comparable to a 1065 steel as far as edge retention and all that. It has 6 different tools on it that can let you make spoon curves and little detail work. The knife is convenient and the price is comparable to a carnival fair knife or a mall knife so that lets everyone capable of buying it. And if you lose it or it breaks, you can get another one and it still cost you less than buying it's competitors. The packaging it came from was descent. It'll do whatever job you need it to do, provided you be careful with it and sharpen it. The edge geometry and shape of some of the tools are pretty good. If the handle didn't have the pin issues, and you ignore the scratches that came with it, as well as the microscopic metal snags, it feels pretty good in the hand. Cons: Very poor quality control went into this obvious sweatshop made item. The brass pins stick out so far that it'd put a hole in your pocket if you were to carry it with you. It came covered in scratches like it's just been thrown around before they boxed it up. The blades and tools do have wiggle, and do not lock into place for those that prefer fixed blade style knives. The blades and tools are all dull and do require you to sharpen yourself before use so that you don't hurt yourself putting too much force into using it. Unlike what the nice commercial says, I sincerely doubt this thing would stand the test of time and use to be a pass down to the next generation knife. The knife could also use a bit of sanding down and smoothing out in certain areas so that you don't have metal bits snagging. Altogether, I personally enjoy sharpening knives, and I'm comfortable with my skill level that I do not need a blade that locks on me. This knife is a convenient one to have at a descent price for all of these detail tools. I would however need to figure out what to do with these pins though, so that I can carry it in my pocket without it damaging my pants and other items in the pocket with it, as that's a pretty big issue.

Good Knife
I’ve been a fan of the Old Timer knives ever since I received my grandfather’s old timer after he passed. I’ve loved my knife and I’ve wanted to learn to whittle for years but those you get from the craft store aren’t sharp and don’t sharpen well and leave me blistered. I was excited to find this Old Timer and was not disappointed when I tested it right out of the package. The wood cut like butter and formed a fantastic curl of wood when I carved.

Meh..
Old timer is not what it once was. This carving knife shows that. Going to use it anyway after I shape and sharpen the blades. The steel will most lastly not hold an edge on hardwood. Should've known all this by the price. Larger than I expected.

Peça bem bonita. Laminas suficientemente afiadas que, acredito, se prestam a sua função de trabalhar a madeira. Gostei bastante;

Very poorly finished knife. Refunded by Amazon. Only one half of the V skorp was ground and unusable bevels on some of the other blades. Don't waste money on this knife-like object.

Péssimo, veio completamente cego, apos afiado a lamina dobra e lasca como lata, tratamento termico ruim.
