If you cordless landline can connect to the headset via Bluetooth then it should be the same as dialing with your cell phone.

Does this work well with a MacBook Pro and what is the quality of the microphone like?

Not sure if it will work with a Mac. The sound quality is pretty good. I use it 8hrs a day with no issues. No one has complained about how I sound on it. Using it for teams and genesys phone system.

is this headset compatible with yealink t46s office desk phones?

Not familiar with that one but it’s a VERY good headset!. Better than the one the company supplied me with when I worked from the office!
