iCrimp Non Insulated Terminal Crimper, AWG 22-6 Ratchet Wire Crimper Tool for Battery Cable Terminal, Copper Butt Connector, Splice Wire Connectors

I bought this based on other reviews and I will say it has not let me down. I have fixed several wires on a couple projects and it crimps fittings very well. I find it to be solid, sturdy, and easy to use. For the few times a year I need to rebuild some wiring, this tool is excellent.

I wish I was exaggerating but I am not. This thing is the best crimper I have ever used for trolling motor wiring. Almost all 8 gauge wire. Whether it’s butt connectors, ring terminals, whatever it may be. This thing makes such a good crimp I have tried to yank the wire out of the connector and I can’t do it. Worth every penny and if I knew how good it was I’d pay double. EXCELLENT

Works great and a fair price.

I have a few tools by this manufacturer and they all have been good or better. This one is excellent. Strongly built and with tight tolerances. The crimps were deeply indented and perfect compressed all around. I easily crimped #8 stranded copper but it did require both of my smaller hands because of the wide handle spread when open, otherwise one hand would have easily been enough.If they had included instructions as to how to adjust the crimping pressure (a center pivot bolt, with index on the body, was marked "1 2 3 4" and two side bolts were marked "1" and "2"), I would have rated it 5 stars. Give it 4-1/2 stars.

Needed some heavy duty crimpers compared to several pairs I've used over the years that come in those connector packs. These have a great grip that won't hurt your hands like the others do. The rachet works as advertised with crimping accuracy.

I am a retired BMW dealership technician, and used to buying high quality tools. This tool is very well made and works perfectly with seamless copper crimp splices. If you have to crimp splices or connectors that are open, order a tool for that type of connector. This is designed for the solid rather then U-shaped connectors.

I bought this crimper for crimping some 8 and 10 AWG lugs and splices. I considered a number of manual and hydraulic type crimpers but settled on this one since it had good reviews and covered the range of wire sizes that I typically work with. It makes secure crimps and leaves a nice clean indentation in the lug or splice. I like the design of this crimper since it makes consistently good crimps when you use the proper wire size slot on the jaws and fully squeeze the handle. Although less convenient, I prefer to use non insulated splices with heat shrink tubing. Nice quality crimper.

Very pleased with the way these crimp the terminal ends.. Work well on the larger battery cables and make for a professional job. I'll be using these from now on.. Great Purchase
