Installed when replacing my old flag last year. Its been holding up very well. Seems plenty solid and sturdy even for those windy days. I was really tired of having my flag wrapped around the pole every 15 minutes so when it was time to replace old glory, it was Grace Alley to the rescue. I have this mounted on the brick on the front of my garage. There is enough adjustment in the bracket to get several angles and keep the flag out of the way of sidewalk traffic. The pole is light and strong. The little globe on top of the pole I think is plastic but its holding up well and the best part is that it will cure your tangle flag problem forever. Grab one to fly your favorite flag, you'll be glad you did.

Purchased this flag pole to overcome my flag getting tangled or wrapped around the standard pole that I had before. Easily installed this kit and absolutely love it! Be sure to use a lightweight nylon-style flag though, I had a standard canvas flag that I thought would work and it became wet and snapped the pole mount. I reached out to Grace Alley and they replaced the mount for me at no charge and I recieved it within a week. Great folks at Grace Alley and they make a great product!Can't go wrong.

I'm certainly no expert as this is the first flagpole I have ever purchased, but it has definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything came exactly as described (pole, mounting bracket, hardware, etc), installation was a breeze (maybe 5-10 min), and in a pretty windy first week of duty, it has performed beautifully. The spinning capability is excellent and has prevented our flag from joining a lot of our neighbors' flags which are regularly twisted and tangled around their flagpoles. The mounting bracket is also nice as it provides a lot of flexibility for choosing your mounting angle. I was worried about slippage with that type of mount, though, fearing it might slowly fall down over time, however, hat fear was put to bed as soon as it arrived. The mount has individual teeth that, once you have selected your preferred position,you are able to clamp down in place.

Exactly what I wanted. Works perfectly. In the past have had wind break pole, and pull out of bracket. No problems so far and have had strong winds. Expect to continue working as it seems to be sturdy and well built. The pole is designed to swivel and have had no problems with the flag wrapping around the pole. Would highly recommend this product.

As far as the product goes, it works great. I have had it on a wooden column for about a month now, and is still standing strong. The bracket itself was easy to install, though I wish it came with a printed patter that I could just adhere to wherever I am mounting it on, because it was a little hard to mark the holes on my own and ended up screwing one of the holes up.The tangle free rings work great on the flag; I mounted a 3' x 5' flag and has not tangled once. I am not sure if it would be the same with a larger flag, but that is as big as I would probably go anyway. My house has 4 front columns so I think I will eventually hang more flags and use this same bracket again.

When I first started using this pole I loved it. It never tangled or wrapped around the pole. I thought this would be my flag pole from now on. Then the problems started.1st: within a month or so the clips that held the flag rusted very badly and got rust stains on my flag.2nd: It was not long afterwards that the gold chrome from the top of the pole peeled off and became black plastic.3rd: After 10 months of use I found my flag and the front piece of the pole laying in my driveway. After looking more closely I noticed that the large pin that was suppose to have a plastic grommet attached that screwed into the bottom pole had broken loose from the grommet and was not repairable.4th: In addition to number 3, when I was checking the pole, I noticed that the pole had bent at the base where it slides into the pole holder that screws onto the house. It was not a bad bend because I did not notice it until I removed it from the holder but it was bad enough to wrinkle the metal, and at that point could continue to completely collapse in a strong wind.5th: I was not very happy about this but decided that maybe it was worth ordering another since I really liked the fact that my flag never wrapped around the pole so I bit the bullet and ordered another one hoping for better luck. When the pole arrived it did not have a clip to hold the bottom of the flag. I called the company to see if they could send me the clip and save Amazon from paying to return the entire pole. All I got was voice mail with a promise that they would return my call as soon as possible. I left that message yesterday morning and still no return call. This morning I boxed the pole up and am returning it to Amazon.I have found another flag pole on Amazon that looks like it will do the same thing as this one so I am going to give it a try. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with Grace Alley. It would have been so easy for someone to engineer a pole that is strong enough to support the flag it is designed for. It also, would only cost a few pennies more to make the clips from stainless steel instead of something that will rust all over my flag. Their customer service is nonexistent so I am done with them.

Love the flag pole kit. It has solved the problem of our flag tangling or whipping around and bending the former aluminum flag pole. This pole either spins or allows the flag to move freely, thus not putting undue pressure on the pole. The flag stands out ina very beautiful display. Winds in the St. Louis MO area have been fierce the last several months and our original flagpole bent enough to cause the metal to separate twice. This one is a little more engineered and jjnot too mmuch more $$. We received this is 3 days. Thanks.

This is the one you want. I've bought several cheaper ones that did not last. This one is sturdy. I'm glad I gave up and bought a good one.
