It's work so good ,. We drove 3650 miles. There was heavy rain but our luggage stay dry, nice and big space we put 3 big luggage and there was still space for more . But we use extra straps for safety on top . I will recommend.

We took it on a 20-day road trip across multiple US states, and it performed exceptionally well in extreme conditions - storms, dust storms, strong winds, and scorching sun. While it's not 100% waterproof, it did a great job of keeping our stuff dry, with only minor moisture seeping in. I also appreciated its stability high speeds (75-80 mph) on interstate highways. For the price, this product is an absolute steal! I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable option. If you're considering buying this, don't hesitate - go for it!

We bought it last year and I had some trouble installing it because the belts became loose and made a lot of noise. This year I used some Gorilla duck tape and problem solved. No noise whatsoever and it is really easy to install. BUT... This year we had maybe 45 minutes to an hour of rain on the way home from the Outer Banks. The zippers were closed and to the back to avoid trouble but still we got a lot of water inside the bag... All the seams are "sealed" with some transparent tape that I imagine it is supposed to be thermal to make the bag waterproof but actually looked as wet scotch tape coming off. Once I took everything out of the bag you could see the water crossing the seams and under the tape. So... lasted one year with no rain and didn't resist one loosy rain. So on water resistance I gave one star because I couldn't give none. On durability I gave one star because it failed on the second trip... maybe because it didn't rain last year. Sorry... I always try to be positive but this time I am really "unhappy".

Bought this item for holiday travels 2021. Five hour drive through snow and wet weather but all of our luggage arrived dry. The unit was easy to install on our Toyota Highlander with roof rack. The material is thick ripstop nylon and the seams are all sealed. Zippers are fairly beefy and of decent quality. The roof liner/protector is a nice addition. You can pack quite a bit of luggage in the unit. The only negative aspect was when one of the extra lengths of strap got caught in the car door after a gas stop and conducted the rain by osmosis into the car. That was easy to fix, but it does make me wonder how you keep the wet out if you’re using the non-roof rack method where the straps need to run inside the car windows. Only other gripe is that - as with most blowup beds, furniture covers, etc - it’s impossible to ever fold the item down so that it fits in the carrying case they give you. Why not make those a little roomier? That said, very happy with this product so far.

Zipper hardware broke off when trying to close the main compartment. Luckily there are two zippers but be careful when trying to close as they are not as sturdy as they seem. Other wise held a lot and had no problems traveling with it or set up/take down. The carrying case arrived ripped at the seam unfortunately but was surprised at how well and small it stores for how big it folds out to be.

First time buying this car carrier. Was really impressed with it during our trip out west. It not only holds alot of luggage but withheld the rain we had during our trip. Once we got home it folded nicely back in bag for storage. I would recommend this to anyone traveling who wants extra room during long trips.

Aside from keeping our luggage on top of the car this carrier has only negatives. After 1 use (2000 miles from TX to VT) - Absolutely NOT waterproof -- Even with our gear in plastic totes it will got wet - Zipper seal shredded making it difficult to zip and compromising any bit of waterproofing - The interior completely broke down, there was this black material that flaked all over our cargo. - Handle broke off when trying to position the carrier. I didn't put much force and one of the exterior handled tore right off - Unless the carrier is packed very well it will have a ton of wind resistance and awful vibration sound on the straps when driving. It took 3+ stops of adjusting straps to get the sounds to stop.

El material es resistente. Viene con todo lo que se dice, incluso las correas largas para cuando no tienen las barras laterales o la canastilla. Tiene el tamaño ideal para 5 maletas grandes. Todo se ve muy bien.

I purchased this model because of the storage capacity and whetherproofness. I am quite content with the expirience I had. I drove from Québec to British Columbia (5 000 km) and it did the trick. As you can guess I encountered various weather conditions from heavy rain to snow to hailing and gust winds of 100+ km/h. This was in end of March/ beginning of April, so probably the worst roadtrip conditions you can have if you are croscontrying Canada. The bag holded on surprisingly well on the roof, I only used the factory benders that came with it and did not move at all, nor did I have to tightened them. I could fit two summer tires, camping gears/ chairs, many loose things, and lots of blankets on purpose just to see if it really was waterproof. After 4 days of pretty much all the weather you can possibly think you can drive through (including a bad snow/rain storm) it was only humid at the bottom of it but remained dry. So yes it is water proof if you install it properly. Of course it did slowdown my car as it was heavy and wind gusts are pretty bad near the great lakes. Although I wasn't expecting anything less since I drive Ford Fusion, not pick-up truck. The only thing I am concerned ish is it's durability in very cold conditions. The bag did stay on my car at night for 4 days and the temperature dropped as low as - 20 °C. I didn't really needed to open it so I didn't, but I'm pretty sure the zipper would have broken or the plastic / fabric of the bag would have ripped appart. I would not travel with this bag under - 30°C weather because it is just some kind of plastic. Have you ever ripped a 20$(cad) bill because it was too cold outside? Pretty sure it would do the same. The "store away" kinda bag broke after the third use, but I really did not care. I am giving this bag a 5 star review because, overall, It surpassed my expectations. It holded on nicely, it is waterproof, and much cheaper than buying a Thule system for my car. In fact I was so impress with it that I shipped it to my friend so he could drive across Canada too, and he was very happy with it as well. The bag as now traveled for more than 10k km and still is like new.

I was so happy with my purchase I bought it end of march and its first use was 19th July but after only one trip 700 miles the water proof lining had fell off I hope the seller of this will see this review and do me right !!!!

Es resistente y facil de instalar, los sujetadores muy seguros, buen espacio de almacenaje muy buena opción en cuanto a costo beneficio, hice un viaje de 750 km. y todo my bien.
