DMV Classic Vented Hard Contact Lens Remover (Green, 10 Packs)

Very good product when I take out and put in my RGP contact glasses, my optometrist recommended this in order for me to make it easy to remove and put my contact glasses.

This works for INSERTION (don't squeeze it) AND for REMOVAL (squeeze-release to create suction, then squeeze (only) to release the lens). I like this much better than expected. Adding a picture because in earlier reviews it seems like there was some discrepancy in which product was shipped. The product I received 12/2019 is vented as shown. SIZE: This plunger is smaller than the 'insertion plunger' from my Dr, and larger than the orange 'removal plunger' from my Dr. I have Scleral lenses (large hard lenses) and the Dr provided 2 separate 'plungers' - one larger vented one for insertion & a smaller non-vented one for removal. It takes a little practice for timing to activate the suction properly to remove the lens with this DMV one, but better functionality overall. Just squeeze to release the suction! My 'removal plunger' from the Dr was not 'vented', so I had to squeeze the tiny sides to release the lens. This one is 'vented', so when you squeeze it, it gently releases the lens. (this is especially good if your aim is not that accurate to get the lens out of your eye!, which is even more difficult when you can't see well!!) I bought this pack to create a few travel/emergency kits (my car, work, etc.) with extra solution, cases, saline, backup glasses, etc.. but now I also use one of these as my everyday plunger tool.

I couldn't live without the Lense Rmover! I use it every day for a hard to remove contact.

This DMV Classic vented contact lens remover is a game-changer for anyone using hard or RGP lenses. It’s incredibly simple, but it works exactly as intended. It was hard to get my contact lenses out for the first time, but it got easier over time.

Definitely does its job but didn't realize it was for costume thick contacts lol

Only DMV I will ever use. So much better than the unvented ones. I always get my lens first try with these.

As a long time RGP lens user, this is just like the one my doctor gave me, and for a good price too! I like the ones with holes for ease of use since the suction feels better to me. This pack is worth is for me, and I still have new ones for if i lose one!!

Intente conseguir estas bombillas con mi proveedor de lentes pero me vendían cada una en $180 (usualmente es una para quitar y otra para poner)… estas son mucho más prácticas porque solo necesitas una para quitar y poner, vienes 6, lo que obviamente hace que tengas de repuesto. Ya no uso las otras. Al principio cuesta un poco agarrarle la onda porque el uso es ligeramente distinto pero lo vale.

Super funcional, tamaño adecuado y comodo de usar, recomendado para lentes de contacto rigidos de gas permeable. Sin duda una excelente herramienta si usas lentes de contacto RGP.

Estos succionadores marca DMV son de los mejores que he probado. Mi tratamiento corneal con lente de contacto blando para poner durante la noche me funciona excelente con este modelo precisamente, porque SÍ tiene un hueco al interior donde se crea vacío y facilita retirar el lente blando. Si tú necesitas un producto para retirar tus lentes de contacto y que te dé seguridad poder crear ese efecto de "succión" entonces estos son los indicados. En paquete de 10 puede parecer excesivo pero te permite regalar uno o dos, guardar un tercero en otro lugar por si se te pierde. Al final, recordemos que por el mismo material sintético con el que se requieren hacer se van desgastando con el uso y el lavado.
