For the price, it's exactly what I expected. I purchased it for our formal living/dining area, which even though is a large room, needed small scale seating because of the amount of furniture. It shipped and arrived earlier than we expected, which was great. I wanted My husband and I put it together without incident.In other reviews for this product in other colors, one person commented on the pre-drilled holes being off on the seat, but I have a feeling they didn't know what they were doing. While assembling, you can't tighten all the bolts until you have them all started. Otherwise, there's no play to push the pieces together like their supposed to be.Another commenter said it wasn't level, but the manufacturers include extra washers to level the legs if needed, which mine did not need.Two people can fit comfortably on the seat, which is about 4 feet wide. Three thin-average people could easily fit. I'm 5'2", and I can sit with my back on one arm and extend my legs fully on the seat. My 6'2" husband just rests his head on one side and his feet up on the arm of the other side.The back is a little bit lower than I expected, which actually works out well, because when I'm sitting sideways with my feet up, the back makes a nice arm rest.The seat is firm, but comfortable. My in-laws and 92-year-old grandmother like it because they don't sink in, and they can get up easily.I've seen similar items sold for over twice the price, but if you're working with a budget, this is a great piece.
