Q: Unable to see from product photos; do the ultra fine filters have the mating channel on the not-shown-filter-side?

If you're meaning the grooves that are there to snap in both filters together then yes it has those. These are pretty much as good as the original ones.

Q: What size micron do these filter?

There are no markings to indicate particle size in microns. The two filters are very comparable to the OEM which came with my DreamStation CPAP.
