Works like it should. Mounted to a tall 3” pipe so cannot comment on mount it comes with - looks heavy duty.

Modified it to make it remote

After modification, this hoist works great. added a 1/2" thick 12"X 24" base to which hoist is mounted and cut post to add 6" to height, and added a 750 pound winch under top arm ahead of hydraulic cylinder mount, and wired into a HD circuit 12 volt, IT WORKS GREAT.

I used this hoist 3 times lifting a 350lb generator and jack failed causing fluid to run out all over and dent my tailgate and hurting my arm from generator not crashing on the ground avoid this item it’s dangerous seller ihubdeals aka stark group would not refund me and do not care about what happened because it’s a year old hoist should last 10 years or more litigation on the way it’s was used 3 times

As described, easy assembly, works well. Don’t think I’d go the full 1000 pounds but for the price is great. Poorly packaged but some how everything was in the box.
