This board is so well-made. The holes are all beautifully smooth it is large enough to hold any square etc. that I make and I do not know why I waited to buy this! This is definitely one of the best things I have done for myself crochet wise in a while the back is beautiful as well and the pegs are not super long . If you love to block multiple squares and just have them stacked up until you are done with your project this is not the length you will need. I believe they offer longer ones as I read in the reviews while I was purchasing this one. Personally for me it is not an issue but I can certainly understand if you were making a blanket with a lot of squares that you would want to block multiples and even use the stacks side-by-side on the board. Personally for me it is not a dealbreaker and after researching so many boards the quality and size of this one was definitely worth the investment. I love the padded back to protect surfaces as well. .

I have no idea why I didnt invest in a blocking board sooner. I had seen YouTube videos for board by Chetnanigans, but they are WAY out of my price range. I found this one and could not beat the price. I've only had it for a few days but it is already making a HUGE difference in the quality of my crocheted granny squares. I've included a couple of pictures with my review. I apologize that my yarn is black but it is the color I'm working with at the moment and I'm not going to break out a different color just to write a review. But you can still clearly see the difference in the "before" and "after" squares. The before square is curling and not laying flat as compared to the after square. My ONLY issue is with the pins that come with the board. They're too short! I can only block a max of 6 squares at a time with these pins. So, I contacted Yarn Mania on their Facebook page to see if they sell longer pins. I received a reply in less than an hour from Emma on their customer care team. They DO have longer pins. Unfortunately they wont be in stock until mid December, but they'll be sending me 50 of them as soon as they come in for FREE! Wonderful, quick customer service. Amazing product. What more could you ask for?!

The board is well made but none of the pins fit the holes when I first got it. When I told the seller I was informed that it is supposed to fit the pins tightly. I used a hammer to tap them in and they fit perfectly. Thanks so much for the quick delivery and response to my problem.

I like the overall look and feel of this blocking board. The holes are slightly too small for the metal dowels, so all you can fit is the very end...and then the fall out easily. There are no measurements on the board so if you need a specific size, you have to use a measuring tape or ruler. It's nice not having a blocking board all full of pin holes, but those work better than this one.

This works great! I needed one that would work for 12x12 squares so this was perfect. As for the pins that I have read others complain about - they are long enough to hold about 6 squares at a time when using worsted weight yarn. If you want bigger just order the larger size - 50 for about $10 (which I did later and I think they may hold about 12-14 squares at a time). Yes, it would be nice if there were even longer pins (hint to Yarn Mania) BUT that is not what is advertised. This is an attractive, easy to use board and I have no complaints! It is something that should be around a very long time so is definitely worth it.

This is beautiful board, but now that I have used it for a project with only 13 granny squares I am able to reviews. I have to do blocking in two different time periods. The metal pegs are so short they only hold 8-9 squares, I have seen others that have tall pegs. I will have to modify or find a way to purchase longer pegs in order to work for me. Also.... I went to measure out a 6 x 6 square and the peg holes do not measure 6 x 6. That is very disappointing as the other boards I have seen coordinate with measurements on a ruler, so this is definitely a bummer. I guess I wish I had read the reviews and that is why I am leaving one today.

I purchased this blocking mat for an afghan I am making for Christmas. I thought if I blocked the squares it would be easier to sew them together. I purchased this mat because it looked like it was good quality, the foam blocks looked like they wouldn't last very long. I was correct, it is good quality and it looks great! I absolutely love this mat! I leave the squares on the mat overnight and they are blocked perfectly when I take them off. The mat comes with 2" pins. I am using 4" pins per the attached picture. These pins were purchased separately. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love this blocking board!! I have been researching blocking boards for a granny square project. Although I knew what I wanted I didn't think I could find one in my price range. This is perfect! The quality, size, price and customer service makes this a great value. I did order more pins and the customer service is excellent! Responded immediately and so helpful! I am so happy with this!

Por decir algo, me hubiese gustado que trajese más pinchos y más largos.Este tipo de producto no es barato, pero es útil
