I had a pair of Corsair HS70's, they were ok, kind of uncomfortable, my ear would touch the driver causing discomfort during long sessions, and the ear cups are made of a "leather" like material that I did not dig. Fortunately those HS70's crapped out on me. They started making popping sounds in the right ear, as well as frequently disconnecting and reconnecting to my PC, which is SUPER annoying in the middle of a game. So I returned those and went with my first choice that I turned away from because of the price tag. Well let me tell you that price tag is worth it!The HyperX Cloud Flight headset, is by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. They are quite light, making fatigue almost non-existent. The ear cups are nice and soft with lots of cushion, but no unnecessary amount of suction against your head. There is a thick foam wall to prevent your ears from touching the drivers, and to top it off the mic sounds serviceable.I do not regret buying these, I do regret not buying these sooner!

Went through a few headsets before finally settling on this one. My big stipulations were a good battery life to last at least 12 hours on one charge which this blows away, sound good which this does pleasantly and have a signal strength that allows me to walk around the house without fuzzing or cutting out. This one checks all the boxes. I've been told the mic sounds good though I'm not a super fan of the detachable mic and would have rather it been swivel. Wireless charging is nice, plop it on my charger at night and pick it up in the morning. No noise canceling which is fine for me but sound isolation is pretty good.Couple things that knocked off a star:- I feel like the size of my head is at the edge of comfort so if you would consider yourself to have a 'large' head, these will probably cause compression discomfort.- The 7.1 surround has a very hollow sound. I've not used it with 7.1 optimized sound tracks so that may be the issue but it mostly feels like a gimmick for a box bullet point.- The nGenuity software is beta and not really reliable but has some neat features that made the headset even more useful to me even if it cant even be minimized to the system tray and has to sit on your start bar as an active program to function.- Battery gets hot during charge. Not dangerously hot but notably hot and, according to HyperX, this is normal.

I love how good it sounds, the only drawback is the beeps for status, its quiet. But it is a great headset. I love it. The mic works great. I love how good the range is and how good the headset sounds the mute button kinda gets in my way when i lay down. But hey I still like it even though when I lay down i keep muting the mic. The mic has not bbroken yet when i lay down the sleeve is a bit wrenkled on the boom but its working and i cannot complain. I do need to complain about its software, completely inacessible with screen readers. But thats just something that has to be dealt with till i figure out whom to contact ii can see my battery from my systray. So I love this headset and I am glad I found iit on sail.

I purchased the hyper cloud x gaming headset after returning the Logitech G533s, those were AWFUL, just plainly bad. I saw the Hyper Cloud X, they had good reviews appeared in a video of top 5 gaming headsets. So I took the plunge, I decided to buy the renewed version because amazon gives you 90 days. I must say these are great headphones, they are EXTREMELY comfortable. They don’t use 7.1 surround sound but they sound so good. When I have them on I can’t hear any other noise...now I understand what noise canceling really means!!! The wireless is smooth and instant. I mean it connects right away. 30 feet easy, maybe 40 feet before it loses connection, but when you walk back into range it connects instantly! Did I say how comfortable and light they feel on my head. I watch movies with them on and it sounds like I am in the movie. I am a strategy gamer and love the sound that I hear now, guns clicking, men calling each other names, birds chirping, boots crunching on the ground, bullets ricocheting, the works. I am a picky gamer, I return stuff it it is not right but I don’t like to pay just cause it has a brand name, but I would pay full price for these, they are that good and I am so happy with this purchase.

Both that have to be returned will not work with an Xbox one that should’ve been made a priority and they should’ve said that after the first one was ordered. Instead, I have two of them that will not be compatible with Xbox one. Please take both of them back and give me the same one that only works with an Xbox one
