PAUL HARTMANN SpA Omnifix Elastic Dressing Retention Tape 2" x 11 yards

A doctor recommended this tape to us and it has been perfect for our needs. We needed to fasten gauze to a small head wound after skin cancer surgery. We needed small strips of tape to secure the gauze, and this tape has marks on the back so strips can be cut that are all the same size. In addition, the tape adheres well but doesn't leave any residue. We have purchased this product several times as we have continued to need to care for the wound as it heals. Great product!

Regular band aids take my skin off then I have two areas to heal, not to mention the pain of it all !!! This tape is AWESOME, easy on your skin but stays where you put it. I'm about to order more as I have several things coming up in the future that I will need to bandage !!!

I hike and walk a lot, several hundred miles a year. This tape is used in conjunction with 2nd Skin squares to protect my feet. I use the combination to cover bunions, hotspots, prior blisters, etc. when I am exercising. My feet love it. The tape sticks to my feet well, conforming to the shape that I am covering. It also comes off easily leaving no residue (unlike adhesive band aids). This has definitely improved my hiking/walking experience.

Good price, good quality. When I MRSA the home health aide used this type tape. I am usually allergic to bandaids but this tape much cheaper than that purchased at medical store, holds gauze in place very well, and is quite a bit better on my skin.

Very good retention tape for fixing to the skin, easy to remove and does not hurt the skin. Try not to get it wet. Also easy to cut round the corners also makes it easy or remove

I have been experiencing blisters upon blisters while training for a 3-month hike across France and Spain. I was desperate to find some way to get my blisters under control. I read a hiking blog and found that this tape was recommended for blister prevention. I tried it once and knew it was the right solution for me. I will take several rolls of it with me on my trek, even though I am assured they carry the same product in Europe. I never want to be without it!! I am now blister-free!! UPDATE: Since writing my review, I have experienced heal pain from plantar fasciitis. This tape is wonderful for reducing facial pain. It works better than any kinesiology tape I've tried and at a fraction of the price. Love this product!!

It sticks very well. Unfortunately it is very thin. I suppose that could be a good feature in some situations but when you're trying to place it around tubes to hold down a split drain bandage it requires a lot of dexterity. Overall it definitely works well.

We had purchased these to use with my parents when they were with us. Very versatile, very practical and a very good purchase.
