Excellent baking tin. Has already proved itself with Delia' s famous Deep Lemon tart (do try if you love a real lemon tang) plus with a Quiche Lorraine. So it has worked very well with both sweet and with savoury pastry. Lovely and deep, pastry looks great, no sticking. I baked the pastry blind with 700g ceramic baking beans on greaseproof paper. After baking blind, remember to cover the pastry edges when re-cooking with the filling, to prevent the pastry edges burning. I cover the edge with a strip of tin foil.

I make a lot of quiche but have always used pottery quiche dishes so have never got over the 'soggy bottom' syndrome. After watching a programme on tv about using metal dishes to Get over this problem I though I would invest....... I was impressed with the Masterclass fluted flan dish which I thought would be great for the job as they are deep and I like a good amount of filling. It is very heavy duty and cooks things through evenly. I allowed my quiche to cool and then push the base up and slide my beautifully cooked quiche onto a server. Not a soggy bottom in sight! Lots of praise from family....... The tin cleaned easily too. A well worthwhile investment that will be getting A lot of use for years to come.

looked everywhere for a 2inch deep quiche/flan tin with loose base and finally found it. Well made by Kitchen Craft/ Masterclass. durable, washing it is a breeze. Obviously highly recommended. Only wish they made the 2 inch deep in other sizes because, personally, I like to taste the filling and after adding the pastry base, smaller height tins fail to do this. Excellent delivery, packed securely.

Not used it yet as I think it is too big for us for me to use it on a regular basis. I have got loose bottom cake dishes and I suppose it will be easy to get things out of it. I will pop it in the dishwasher after I have used it so I will not have any trouble getting it clean. It’s non-stick so should be easy to clean by hand,

Love this tin . Brought it one for my daughter so pleased had to buy another one for myselfOnly down side is they don't appear to make in different sizesI would like a smaller one but still the same depth .. alot of the smaller ones are shallow

I bought this for one recipe, which is an apple pie with cinnamon whirls on the top. It needed a much deeper tin to accommodate this top.The tin worked exactly as you'd expect it to.

Kitchen Craft Master Class flan tins really are the best! I have all sizes and types and they really are great. The non stick is double coated "Quantum 2" and even though I don't wash them in the dishwasher, it's really easy and not a hassle cleaning them. They are heavy duty and a little heavy, but this only makes them incredibly durable for years of quiche and flan making! Highly recommend Kitchen Craft Master Class tins.
