These filter pads are made to fit the Fluval U2 range of internal filters The plain filter sponges contain the biological cultures, biologically and mechanically filtering the aquarium water. The polycarbon filter cartridges remove small particles from the water, and the activated carbon chemically filters the water of impurities. Please Note: This is not a Fluval Product. Not the real thing but close. Overall cost comparison works out cheaper even though they don't last as long. Happy with the product

The filters and foam arrived very quickly, and I have had them in the Fluval filter for about 2 weeks now. They are very durable, and are holding up. I have 4 very large goldfish, and the poor filter struggles with their messiness. So far, the filters are in perfect order, unlike the Fluval ones that came with the filter. I will be purchasing more of these, from this seller. So I definitely recommend.
