Great addition to my spice cabinet
Finally used this the other night when I made a curry spiced fish chowder with pumpkin and coconut milk. It added a richness and heat to the spice that was perfect. Love the containers. Big wide opening helps measuring, and secure lid keeps spices from spilling. Easy to stack a few in the cabinet as well. I am sure it will be a nice tin to reuse when I finish up the spice to hold odds and ends...paper clips, tacks, etc. Or, it certainly can be recycled.

Pretty good, but toast it in your dry pan first
This tastes pretty authentic, surprisingly enough. I made some dal the other night with it, and it came out really good. My ex husband is Nepalese and taught me to cook Nepalese and South Indian. I live in the country now, and work in the city, but when I get off work, the Indian stores are closed, so I thought I would try this one, since I like their other spices. Good job. I just toasted everything first to bring out the flacor. Straight from the tin, it isn't enough.

Incendiary: the second time this happened with this spice company
Discovered this last year and purchased several of their products because they are so fresh. I am giving this product 5 stars based on the quality and taste. However, beware the heat! A little hot for my palate.Pros: organic, tins beautiful and you can reuse.Cons: Incendiary.

New favorite spice and container!
Great flavor packed in this small tin. You don't need allot to make any dish absolutely delish! There is nothing I don't like about this product. The flavor is great, the tin helps seal up all those wonderfull aromas and there is a great little how to use on the tin itself.

Inconvenient but tasty
Not a typical garam masala- I ordered it because it was the only kosher one I could find and I like to flavor garbanzo beans. This blend is sweeter than I expected, but good nonetheless. But the can is a pain to use, so it's not as go-to as my other spice blends. I guess I just prefer an easy twist off cap.

Too much black cardamom powder. Imparts a very strong menthol flavor. Cute tin though.
