Not waterproof as claimed
We bought these lights because of the claim that they were waterproof. We used one set outside over Christmas and were initially very pleased with the lights. However, once the set got wet, they started to behave erratically - not working properly on the timer and not staying on for very long. Eventually, they stopped working altogether. The battery pack does seem to be waterproof and I can't see any water ingress in the unit. However, half the lights are showing rust coloured staining and the set now doesn't work at all. We are now very disappointed with them and would not recommend that anyone buys them for outside use.

Do not buy
Terrible product. Came with 2 remotes that appear to be for some else - can’t even turn off! Rubbish plastic tat. Do not buy

Pleased with purchase
Couldn’t use the wall fittings supplied as didn’t want holes in wall. Bought some self adhesive hooks. Did not get a remote control with this item although it is mentioned in previous reviews. Presume it doesn’t have one. Happy with result of Christmas cards hanging up. Batteries haven’t run out yet so presume battery life is good.

the most important feature for me is that it offers also a simple feature: just glows with nice, slightly subdued light; yes, it also gives you a number of blinking options but I do not want to have a disco on my patio...

Great where mains electricity is unavailable
Warm Christmas lights with a range of sequences. I found the timer on the remote control particularly useful - the timer allows you to turn the lights on and they go off automatically after 6 hours.Work well of rechargeable batteries.Very pleased with them.

They gorgeous lit up love different modes I'm sorry had them up for party forgot to take photos, but they sure were sparkly

Excellent product. Variations on controls give the mood you want for any occassion. I used some for daughters bedroom and the others for outside

Not suitable for outdoor use
These lights are great... until it rains. Unfortunately, after a single night of heavy rainfall they have failed to work. As can be seen from the photo the water has penetrated the individual lamps and corroded the connectors. If you intend to use these inside, they are great lamps. Otherwise, don't bother.
