I was skeptical to buy this book because I was buying it for a 10 year old boy and I didn't want the drawings to be too advanced. It was perfect. He loved this gift and it has so many different animals to draw.

I thought it was 200 KINDS of different animals. Animals. If you enjoy learning to draw a few different kinds of animals in lots of different poses, you will like this book. It just wasn't what I was expecting.

The best way to learn to draw is to recognize simple shapes, draw lightly and then add the details. I get really annoyed when I see that many of the drawing books don't show that. As times go on, with practice, it gets better and better. This is one of the books that shows this.

I expected 200 different animals and that was what I wanted. There are a very limited number of animals with many different poses. I found that very disappointing.

Really good and helpful

This is so helpful, I use it to draw silhouettes and outlines of animals but with the freedom of being able to add your own unique style and patterns, it’s changed my approach to drawing everything and I can’t wait to buy the entire series!!!
