Simple Houseware Queen Size Mattress Bag

Saved the day!! Moving a mattress in Seattle is not an easy feat…moving a mattress in Seattle rain is even more of a struggle! I’m here to say- simple houseware kept us from possibly ruining a very expensive mattress- all by creating an affordable and easy slip into, on and over cover up… THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU..!!!Worried about ripping or tearing while fitting mattress inside- we chose the queen size for a full.. and this was a home run!! This let us get it on with ease and even store our 3” pad and protector in the same bag… Ha!! Who knew- made of durable plastic this has a lot of give and although it can tear… the cover proved far stronger than expected. **just be careful on concrete- DO NOT DRAG IT ALONG.. for obvious reasons, this will rip cover and lose ability to keep mattress fully safe and incased!Hands down- I won’t ever move or store a mattress without a protective cover just like this ever again.. it’s not too much or expensive for something that saves your high $$ investment!! For under $15- you’ll save yourself so much angst and be glad you did.. trust me, you’ll thank me for this advise! Hoping this info can help your decision- stay safe.

We ordered two of these for mattresses when we moved. We were impressed with how thick they were. They worked great and held up through our move without any rips or tears.

No problems so far after storing a mattress for two months. Good quality, thick plastic. I took one star because it would be perfect if it had a closure option.

Pros: It fit the mattress. It mostly served its purpose of protecting the mattress temporarily from the elements while sitting on curb for recycling.Cons: Not as thick as other mattress bags I’ve used. Not as durable as other mattress bags I’ve used.Just needed a bag to protect it from the elements sitting on the curb. Our county has a recycling program, but they won’t pick up wet mattresses, and if it’s dirty they won’t use mattresses still in acceptable condition for local shelters.The bag got a small tear while moving it outside that I had to tape closed. For the money it should have been thicker and more durable.

Used this for a recent move. There are no closures, but easy to just tape it shut. I was able to put it on a queen sized mattress by myself in just a couple of minutes. The plastic is very thick and durable. My roommate bought a case for his mattress at a hardware store for twice as much and it immediately ripped in several places. Mine could be picked up by the plastic and carried easily with no tears. Would definitely recommend.
