Awesome Hat!
After a vacation spent trying to keep a straw garden hat from flying off my head during walks or even a very light breeze, I needed to find a hat that fits better and has a string to keep the hat from tumbling away. This hat is perfect. I measured my head circumference and the recommended size was spot on. The price is fantastic. The string is reassuring -- in case the hat were to fly away -- but so far that hasn't been an issue, it fits so well. It's comfortable, provides good sun protection and is light enough to prevent significant added heat in summer weather. It takes much less space to pack than a traditional straw hat.If I lived in a warmer climate, I'd buy multiple colors. Unfortunately, winter months outlast summer here so I'll enjoy the neutral-colored khaki while the sun still shines. My husband says it looks adorable, which was very sweet. I feel happy wearing it. Recommended for any gender to use for walks, hiking, boating, gardening or any favorite outdoor activity.

This is going to get a lot of use
In the time I've had this hat, it has become a favorite, for comfort and sun protection. It looks like it will last, too. I really did agonize over what size bill would be best (yeah, I know, I need a life in the worst way), but this was the right choice. Somebody said it wasn't a fashion statement, for for those of us who look like dorks in any hat, that's not an issue, and this is a great hat.

Really great option for an easy hat with a full brim.
This hat does everything I wanted--and it is washable (I think it shrunk a tiny bit when I washed it even though I air dried it, so keep that in mind). Anyway, it has a wind/chin strap, snap sides to pull up the brim if desired, and a decent width brim...all for around 10bucks. If I could add one feature, it would be a little mesh venting for less heat retention, but in all...it is a really nice hat for the price. I will probably get another 2 to toss in the car trunk for those "just in case" moments.

THE PERFECT BUCKET HAT
This Bucket Hat is a replacement for a favorite cotton hat that had become worn out and tattered. My husband agreed to getting a new hat providing it was cotton, the same style, color, and fit. The new hat is perfect in every way! It is well-made, it fits perfectly, and the durable cotton fabric will serve him well for many years to come.

Thick material and floppy brim.
I have a rather large head but this hat was too large. The brim can't be shaped, it's floppy. There's no convenient UPS drop-off location so I'm stuck with it. The only other return I've done was picked up at my addy. Not an option here.

Bargain price.
Nice hat: the material and construction are just fine, does not look cheap. Comfy and soft, while brim is just between floppy and stiff. I plan to kayak and hike with this: it shades the eyes, ears, and neck.

Safari Hat...because life is wild.
Perfect for our vacation Bible school, the theme this year is "Roar! Life is Wild...God is Good!" The safari guides will be stylish. The hat is a touch loose and this is not a problem, better a bit loose than a bit tight. Thick cotton brim is 3 inches wide. It has 4 well made vents, sturdy side snaps, and a long chin strap and sewn in place with an easy to work slide clasp. This feels like a quality made hat above the price point so I believe it to be a good value for the money.

Good hat but not well vented and cannot be shaped.
I have worn this hat several times, mainly when I mow the yard, and it is pretty comfortable. I am a bit disappointed that it cannot be shaped. It is very floppy and hangs down in my face making it difficult to see what's in front of me if it's very high up. I have smacked myself in the head with limbs a couple of times when mowing the yard. However, it does a great job of blocking the sun on my face, so I guess it's a compromise. I don't think this hat will be of much use in the summer as it does not have enough venting and gets pretty hot even in spring temps.
