Why did you pick this product vs others?: High high quality at a low price. I wanted super dark and these come very close. I thought about it and if they were much darker then I shouldn't drive with them. The plastic has some flex, so they are a comfortable fit. Many lower priced sunglass options have this rigid plastic than is much less comfortable. The wrap around design on these does a great job of keeping out the side light. Overall for the price these are great, great !

Husband loves them...we have ordered 2 pair so he has a back up. They are very dark, the kinda dark you find in stores.

Fantastic for someone sensitive to light! These glasses are very dark! Exactly what I was looking for! Very happy with them! If it’s helpful to you, I’m sensitive to light. With the use of normal sunglasses on just a cast over day I’m still squinting. On a bright sunny day, with normal sunglasses, I have difficulty seeing because of the brightness. These extra dark sunglasses are an instant relief and didn’t even realize how much I was squinting until I got these. If you are sensitive to light definitely get these! I have attached a picture of normal sunglasses (on left), next to these extra dark sunglasses (on the right)

I got these for my migraines and so far they're great, nice and dark, sides are covered well, not much of a gap at the top or bottom. I only have one psa and one small negative comment. PSA first, these are not safe to drive with! Because the lenses are so dark, anything in the shadows is almost impossible to see. Unless you're driving through a big sunny desert with no shade anywhere, it's safer to wear regular tinted sunglasses or you run a big risk of hitting a pedestrian/biker/other car because they were in the shade and you couldn't see them. They feel kind of fragile, I'm afraid if I drop them or forget them in my purse or something I'll break them. Fortunately I only use them for my migraines so I don't carry them like my regular every day sunglasses. But if you're like my mom who is really hard on all of her stuff (seriously, she managed to accidently break her super duty otter box on her phone in less than a month) then these don't feel like they'll last very long for you. Overall though I quite like them and they've served their purpose really well.

If you are searching for the darkness, the darkness that no other pair of sunglasses have given you, then you’ve come to the right place! These sunglasses have the darkest tint ever! The thick sides help keep the sun out. And this is exactly what I was looking for. I added nose pads (which I also reviewed) because I have a low nose bridge, so that positions these better for me. But did I mention the darkness? These aren’t for everybody! These sunglasses are for the brightest, sunniest days, in a desert! If you’ve ever been in a desert, you know what I’m talking about! The beige landscape that reflects all sunlight all around you, making everything so bright, it blinds you! These are the sunglasses you need! If you want sun protection, this is it! But you have to be careful because you cannot wear these indoors! If you do, you’ll walk into walls and furniture! You also may not want to wear them at dusk and dawn, the twilight hours, because everything will be much darker. And even more so if you’re also wearing a hat. Anyway, they look cool in matte black and are well made. Worth the money. I’m so happy to have these.

I have light sensitivity and these are nice and dark. The downside is that they break really easily, so we even super glued them together. Even the gluing only lasted a few months. I went through 3 pairs before I totally gave up on them.

These are just what I needed for after surgery protection.
