Excellent, Feature-rich Phone System
This product provides more than I thought it would. When I programmed in the names of people, the phones can speak the names as I programmed them, like "Grandpa." The intercoms have been a huge help in family function because I can just use the intercom number for the children's room to wake them up rather than them hearing my voice repeatedly. They just hear their phone's ring. If the children are in another room of the house, we can use the intercom to let them know it's meal time without calling out to them. They don't have to disrupt their schoolwork to come downstairs to ask a question or ask for us to come upstairs to help them. I like having a the clip function and the ability to attach a headset to the portable phones. I did purchase a longer cord for the base phone. I purchased two sets and put the second set of portable phones to work with this base. (It can handle up to two more portable phones to this base.) We can use the speaker phone with the base if we need to be hands-free while talking on it. The children already figured out how to set their desired ringtone for their phone by themselves. It allows for groups to be set for each phone number entered. I organized my group 1 as family, group 2 as friends, and group 3 as business numbers I want to have on hand. The phone system replicates the numbers so I don't have to program them in each phone. I'm thoroughly pleased with this purchase. (Note: I did purchase the additional batteries as suggested. There is no need to do that for these phones. They have the right rechargeable batteries for each set; however, we have numerous other uses for the batteries throughout our home.)

Great landline phone option. Easy to expand to as many handsets as needed.
High quality product. Sound quality is excellent. Speaker phone is easy to use and sound is excellent here too. Volume adjustment is effective when you need to pump up the volume. Easy, large keypad and buttons are clearly labeled. What I like best is the ability to block annoying spammers, scammers and political robo calls. Very easy process for flagging these and they are prevented from calling you back unless they use another number. The remote handsets use standard batteries. One of my problems with an earlier set is that I could not find replacement batteries. These are very simple to replace and I haven't had to replace them with over a year in daily use. You can add as many remotes as you want. Another feature I like is that the remote units do not require plugging into a phone jack. They get their signals via airwaves. Yes, the pedestal for the remotes needs a plug, but that is strictly for recharging the batteries. Remotes are a bit complicated to use ALL of the features so you may have to pull out the manual to figure out how to do more unusual things. But the simpler, more common functions are extremely easy to use.

Like the phone overall.
The menu system and manual are pretty clear on set up. I purchased this more as a backup phone and for when I'm traveling to call the house. Reason for one less star are the following reasons. Seventeen min max message storage? Seriously when memory is essentially free these days for gigabytes of memory. To me that is ridiculous. I also don't see why Panasonic would use Two small AAA batteries in the base unit? Not like you carry it around, and the low power batteries typical of AAA nickel metal suck. Why not Size 4 AA? There would be no point in the "energy saver mode", ideally in emergency power outage young kids and or seniors may not remember the phone book stored in the base unit in the absurd Eco mode. I installed Two black eneloop batteries to maximize the tiny backup system. Still horrid compared to 4 AAs. I would actually prefer a non charging system on the base unit. Something like Four AA energizer lithiums would be outstanding on back up, and not need maintenance for years. Haven't used the Mobile units. They are charging. Even though I charged the batteries that came with the portable handsets with a very good Panasonic charger and were showing full. Installed in handset and said needs 7 hours. My thoughts are the phone charge systems are subpar. At least Panasonic used a common size battery, I give them credit for that and not some PITA proprietary system that is hard to replace or find. I think many of us pre cell phone days people have experience with that situation. One other thing I would like to have adjust is the LCD display for sleep time settings. Like all the smart phones we use can be adjusted for brightness and how many min on before dimming. I only listed the bad for most part because the good is too long to write about. I would buy this system again and would rate 4.5 if half stars were available. Hey Panasonic since you bought out Sanyo eneloop batteries include those with your products instead of the cheap chi com brands.

CALL BLOCK is my favorite feature!
It was time for new phones when I kept having issues with hearing quality on the old ones. I thought it was the line itself but turns out the pld phones were just not kickin it anymore. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Quick to set up and charge (overnight recommended), the corldess handsets offer plenty of features. The corded base is ideal for when the power goes out (frequent in my area) and it has a battery back up to boot! The call block feature is my absolute favorite thing about these phones! I made the mistake of taking a 'sales call' one day and donated to a charity who, in turn, sold my number to every solicitation group out there. My phone rang non-stop and even after having my number removed from half a dozen call lists, I discovered the same groups would just use a different number. But alas! Call block certainly works...just press the call block button from either the base or either handset, confirm 'yes' you want to block that number and you're done! In the first week, the calls have all but stopped. YES! Call quality is excellent, there is a large capacity for speed dial numbers and many, many other great features. I highly recommend and would purchase again. For the record, this was a straight out purchase - no discounted product, no free stuff, just spent my money and got a great product in return. Can't beat that!

Highly recommend, great quality, amazing sound!
This phone set is amazing! First of all, the package shipped quickly and was in good condition when it arrived. It was actually shipped with a set of shampoo/conditioner that leaked during shipping and some of the product got on the box. It did not damage it in any way, so even the packaging on this item is quality. There was nothing missing out of the box and none of the merchandise was damaged in any way. It was very simple to set up and start charging. The sound quality on this system is perfect! No static or background noise whatsoever. I live on a remote island so having a set like this is a must. As much as I love having cordless phones, we have frequent power outages and have to have a plugged in landline at all times. I've gone through so many sets like this it's not even funny, but this is, by far, the best quality phone that we have owned. It takes a little getting used to when it starts to announce the caller, but I've found that I really appreciate this feature since I hate getting up when I'm in the middle of changing a diaper or something just to find out its a sales or political survey call or something. I have not had any issues working with the settings yet, but I have not even touched the surface of what's its capable of. If I run into any issues, I'll update this review. One feature that I haven't had a chance to set up yet that I'm really excited to use is the baby monitor. We're rearranging our house so I haven't gotten to test it yet, but that is one of the main reasons that this phone was the one that eventually chose. I have no doubt that it will be an amazing function, but again, if I have any issues with it, I'll update my review. So, in summary, I highly recommend this telephone system.

Close fit to wall -save yourself some time and read on-short cord - straight forward set up and...
We had an old set of 3 top of the line (in their day) Panasonic wireless phones. But after our having them around 10 years (plus they weren't new whe we got them), the buttons on some of them were getting a bit cantankerous. Playing the #1 hard on this one, hit the 2 on this handset and eventually having to go back to the base to end a call on them got old. So I started researching. The biggest thing I was looking for was one that didn't stick out far from the wall. THIS is the ONLY one on the internet I could find after hours of research that fit fairly snuggly to the wall. The base at its deepest it protrudes just a hair over 4". With the wall mount our old one stuck out close to 6". So it is narrow, tight fitting, close to the wall. Again the narrowest I could find. The width is about 9" and the height is just over 7.5". (Again the handset - which I suppose you could disconnect and remove if you had to for some reason.) The features are easier to figure out than our previous set. (although some of the setup for one we don't plan on using have #codes that probably only the geekiest would remember). I like that the mounting plate just switches around for wall mount or desk. It also is hallow so it can hold the extra length of the phone and power cord. Love that you don't have to play the wind the cord around and /or tuck in here - oh bother now it won't reach the outlet game. The wireless handsets come with batteries, the backup power on the base does not come with batteries. It functions without them. It takes 2 AAA Ni-MH batteries. I researched and ordered the iMac brand, they are orange and black. A person would probably not need them if you have a battery backup box from the phone company. Other things to note: Color is only champagne (light brownish goldish color) on the front of the wireless handsets, the back of the wired handset and the front of the base - the rest is more of a white. The key pad and the display in the middle of the base are a darker tone. The cord is super short and has the narrower jacks. Ringer can be set to what I feel is super loud. I did not think I would miss the caller ounce from our old phones. But I did, I scoured the instruction/set up booklet. No luck. However as I was configuring the base...lo and behold it does have caller ounce that you can turn on or off. Bonus with the corded base - you Always know where at least 1 phone is. Note: I have only had a week and so far loving these phones. The only thing I am having trouble adjusting to one thing...I forget I can just push the off button and instead I head over to the base. I hope this is helpful - I know I would have appreciated it when I was searching.

Just received today, error in their description.
I haven't used them yet, the hand sets are charging, but I wanted to note an error in the description. I purchased extra rechargeable batteries for the base as it only comes with batteries for the hand sets. To ensure I purchased the correct batteries I copied and pasted from this description...Three one-touch dial pads are ideal for frequently called numbers. And when you keep a charged handset in the base unit, you'll have up to 8 hours of battery power backup for making and receiving calls during power outages using other cordless handsets in the house. (Two AA-size rechargeable Ni-MH batteries not included). It says two AA-size rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. This is incorrect and should be AAA-size. You can use regular AAA batteries but it says you can't put those in until the power goes out and to remove them when the power comes back on. I'd rather use the rechargeable batteries that can stay in and charged until they're needed. So if you're ordering extra rechargeable batteries it's AAA you need. Just FYI. I'll add info. about how they work after I've used them. They did arrive in perfect condition with everything needed. Packaging was great. Came with enough rechargeable batteries for the hand sets as stated. Right now this rating is only for the description having the wrong size batteries listed for the base.

This Phone DOES work with an Internet (VOIP) hookup.(A reviewer said it doesn't)
The description at Panasonic and Amazon for this phone says “Landline”. This leads me to believe that it would not work on cable Internet hook-ups, but it does! Someone in the answers section of the Amazon page for this product said this phone does not support VOIP service over the Internet (Voice Over Internet Protocol). It DOES support VOIP service. No one answered my question about this phone being supported when hooked up on the Internet (without a landline), so I called Panasonic and asked the technical support person if it would work with my Ooma phone system that operates over cable Internet and she said it would work. She was right. I received my Panasonic KX-TGF352N today and spent a little more than 5 minutes taking everything out of the box and attaching the power and phone lines - just as described in the "Getting Started" section in the manual. It worked right out of the box. As soon as you hook up the power and phone lines it is ready to go. The phone works fine hooked up to the Internet and I love it so far. I tried two (2) different Call Blocker products and they wouldn’t work with my Panasonic phone system set-up. This phone says it will block 250 numbers. I like this feature. I don't see anything I dislike so far. If I find any glaring problems I will update my post. (Update 3/13/2016) - The speaker feature of this phone doesn't work as well as the older Panasonic model I had. It works well, but the older model was excellent.)

Just Great!
Really glad my last basic landline died suddenly and I ended up buying this landline / headset combination! It's an order of magnitude improvement with a lot of really nice functionality, beautiful silver look and nice tilting large easy to read LED display. Now that I also have handsets, no more dashing madly from the bedroom to get to a call on the living room landline in time. Much functionality that I will never use as I don't get a lot of calls and have phone company voicemail but it was a lot of tech fun setting up a bunch of interesting features. Though I can see the manual being a problem for anyone with only basic (older?) landline experience, I had no major problems with it myself and don't think anyone who has worked through a cell phone manual would have any difficulties. Since all my recent phones have died/malfunctioned within a couple of years recently, I decided to go for the three year warranty offering. It's nice to see they even offer a three year one as it infers the company expects a longer problem free lifespan. Had noticed after some use, the handsets (which I store sitting in their charging docks all the time) would once in a blue moon give out a beep. The last time this happened, I lifted the complaining device out of its dock and cleaned the contacts and then put it back in. It immediately indicated 'Charging' despite the power icon on the handset display showing three bars. Update: I created "groups" of recognized numbers in my "phonebook" and set these groups to bypass the phone's "silent mode" that I have turned on. The phone thus only rings when someone I know calls (and incidentally uses a different ringtone with each group!). I occasionally turn off silent mode for a short while if I am expecting a call from, say, a delivery driver. I also use call blocking e.g., I set up one "range of numbers" block that matches the first six digits of my own phone number as spammers will often use a spoofed caller id number closely matching your number to gain your trust. This particular feature would be much more powerful if I could set my phonebook groups of known numbers to override this blocking much like I can set them to bypass silent mode!

Just what I was looking for
I did lots of research and found Panasonic was highly rated. I wanted a corded base and two cordless handsets in a color other than black. This phone fit the bill perfectly. The call block, voice mail and intercom are only a few of the many features that make this phone a solid 10 in my book. Set up was easy with the manual that came with the phone. Very happy with this purchase!

BONITO Y FUNCIONAL
El Teléfono Me Parece de Mucha Calidad , Además de Muy Bonito y Funcional , Muy Fácil su Operación. Por El Momento Le Doy Cinco Estrellas. Ahora Hay Que Ver Ya En La Practica que Tan Funcional y que Tanta Durabilidad Tiene. En El Pasado Ya He Tenido Teléfonos Inalámbricos Panasonic y La Verdad No Me Han Decepcionado para Nada. Espero Que Esta Unidad También Me Deje Complacido. Hay Otro Factor que es Importante al Adquirir Algún Producto Electrónico y Es El Que de Fabrica Venga Perfectamente Ensamblado y Sin Fallas y/o Defectos.
