Feraghan/New City Shapes Geometric Contemporary Modern Area Rug, 7' x 10', Purple/White/Green/Blue

I purchased this rug for my toddler's bedroom and I am very pleased with this product. From other reviews, I gather that the original listing for this product did not have accurate measurements. The measurements listed in the product description when I purchased it were 6'6" x 9'3", and this is true to the product I received.The colors of the carpet were true to the photos of the product, very vibrant. I think that this rug is a good gender neutral rug for a kids room as it has some blue and green as well as fuchsia and red. The binding along the edge of the rug is fuchsia.The rug is low pile, but is still a soft fuzzy pile. It should be easy to vacuum and clean.The backing of the rug is the tradition rough canvas style and it will slip on hard surfaces, so I would recommend some sort of nonskid pad underneath for hard flooring.In terms of "new carpet" smell, there was a noticeable odor for the first week or so, but by the second week of having it out the smell is completely gone. I am in the midst of some significant morning sickness and have been super sensitive to smells, but the initial "new carpet" smell did not bother me at all. I really don't think this should be an issue for most folks.

Was not as vibrant in color as it appears in the photos. The orange and yellow is very 1970's. It was also rolled up in more of a fold, it has lots of creases and will take a long time to flatten. I will keep it, because I was getting desperate for a rug, and no one will see this where it is. Just think people should know what to expect. I was excited about the bright colors, but it is much more saturated.

Love this rug! It's exactly as I expected. I knew it would be "thin" from reading the reviews, that's fine. I used carpet tape to secure it to the floor, got it for our laundry/dog bed room, which is directly off the kitchen. It ties in colors from the kitchen walls (some orange) and the yellow on the laundry room walls, makes for a nice *pop* of color in an otherwise bland utility room, and at a low price.

Love it! Bigger than I thought it would be! It gives my living room a nice pop of color with my black and with sectional! I got the one with the black and white triangles in it. Shipping was pretty fast too!

They lie about the size! I selected the biggest option supposed to be for the living room, more like a betheoom mat. Very disappointed

This is a very nice rug. ive read that some people think that it is too thin but I have to disagree I think that this rug is just thick enough that it can be used as a living room piece. the colors are very bright and pretty. the rug has a plush microfiber feel to it. Absolutely love this rug

This rug took a while to ship - which I was aware of.. It is a beautiful rug and just soft enough. I'm not sure why there were so many complaints?? But mine was the perfect size. There is a section to select size. I absolutely love the colors in it too
