Based on other reviews, I chose to purchase a size up from what the chart suggests. I have a very petite 6 year old (48 inches tall and 35 lbs) and I ordered a size 8 in this shirt. I wanted to account for it shrinking as well and since Being washed, it is only slightly long in the arms but fits her well elsewhere. Very nice material and I am happy with it. Side note: the pants for these are the same color even though the pants look darker online. (Pictured is beige)

I love this brand of cotton stretch-knit 'tops' for children! This isn't my first purchase of this brand, Leveret. Their t-shirt type of fabric (cotton &/or cotton blends of stretch-knit fabric) is very nice; it washes well and retains its shape very nicely, and the fabric is a mid-weight fabric which is nice for layering and for wearing as-is in the spring & autumn. The brand runs a bit small, compared to other known & household-name-brands so, adjust accordingly. For example, when my granddaughter wore a 24-mos.-to-2T, I was buying her 3T, and for my 8-y/o grandson who usually wears a size 8, I buy a size 10 for him in Leveret ... so, go up one size to avoid improper fitting or returns.

I purchased for my son’s school activity but it runs really small. As seen in the pictures his red shirt is for ages 5/6 and this shirt is for 6 years but this brands runs too small overall. 4 stars are for the quality as the quality was really nice and comfortable so I returned it and reorder a size up which was delivered within two days.

My daughter needed a nude/beige top to go under her Moana costume for Halloween since it was cold here. Ordered one and it arrived in time. Fit her great and she was able to stay warm under her costume.

Yikes I should have read more reviews. I ordered the size 5 for my 4 year old but it’s so tiny. Looks like size 3T. I am returning this and ordering size 8 instead. It’s 100% cotton and they run small, so those two things combined make these really tiny. But the fabric is super soft and I couldn’t find a long sleeve solid brown shirt anywhere else. Perfect for his UPS guy Halloween costume.

Leveret shirts for the win!! These are the best undershirts for toddlers during the cold months. You have to order a size up. I purchased a size 2 years for my 12 month old son who is 31.5” long (95th percentile) and 21 lbs. The quality and durability of the fabric is excellent. The shirt maintains it shape for hours.... on a very active little boy! It’s easy to clean and withstands multiple washes. I love these shirts!!

Very nice shirt. High quality, super soft. True to fit. High quality stitching, fabric and over all quality. I highly recommend.I purchased the golden yellow one and it was true to color on the screen. That impressed me. I'm always worried about the color, screens can alert a color, but that yellow was right on the mark. The shirt is beautiful. If it were in my size, I'd wear it. I had originally purchased this for my son for Halloween, minion costume. It worked beautifully and he can wear it all winter long.Update: 12/22/16I've since repurchased 7 more of these shirts for my two smallest children. I love these shirts. They hold up so well in the wash. They don't pill, they stay soft, they don't fade, they don't shrink... What more could you ask for?I highly recommend them.My 4 year old loves his short sleeve shirts, but in the winter, it's just not faisable. I layer these shirts under the t-shirts. Problem solved!

SOFT! We bought the Age Six for our boy who for his fifth bday. He weighs 46 lbs and is 46" tall. Most of his clothes are 5T with some 6T or 6, mostly XS or S, depending on the brand. This shirt is amply long in the body and sleeves. It has a soft stretch to it, so it'll be comfy as our son grows. This fabric is truly soft and the neck and seams are soft, so our son's sensitive skin is not irritated. Highly recommend for kids with sensory overload and sensitive skin.
