works great
easy to install and works great.Installed on my utility truck so I had to drill hole in cab for wire entry (no big deal)-also I used four 1-1/2" sheet metal angle clips with a 7/8" (1/2" elec K.O.) hole and mounted below bumper.Sounder is plenty loud so I just coiled it up under my seat and zip-tied it there. The control box is designed to be mounted in trunk and hooked to backup lights, but this doesn't work on pickup truck (wires too short from sensors) so I mounted inside of rear tool box. Regular pickup trucks will have to either mount the control unit behind brake lights (in between side wall) or get a weatherproof box and mount under the bed.

So far it works fairly well. I didn't give it 5 stars as I have noticed in rain that I received a false signal. Once I get the bug worked out with adjusting the sensors, my rating may jump to 5 stars. My father who has macular degeneration has asked me to install this on his truck. Once I get the adjustments worked out and feel confident in the sensors, I will be installing on his truck. The sensors are designed for thin plastic type bumpers as opposed to thicker metal truck bumper installation. I used a little silicone to secure the sensors as the rubber "winglets" that are supposed to hold the sensor in place wouldn't grip the heavy metal bumper very well. The beep is plenty loud. I did have to make an extender wire for the beeper to get it located in the cab of the truck.I plan to add a switch to the system so that when I am pulling a trailer I can turn the system off to stop the beeping every time I put it in reverse. The sensor wires were long enough to route up to one taillight. I removed the tail light and put the box and extra length of wires behind the light. Fairly simple.

It works as it is supposed to. Came in the time frame. Actually the product was from Hong Kong so it was longer than a regular item but this was noted at the time of purchase and expected.

Unreliable System
When they are working they are great. Unfortunately they act up intermittently. I have had them installed for about a month now, and I wired them to the reverse lights as well as to an on/off switch. Occasionally they will beep rapidly when ever they are engaged. There is nothing near the truck, and it happens even when the truck has been parked in a dry underground parking spot overnight. So it is not due to dirt, water, or even temperature. Unfortunately this intermittent failure makes these sensors unreliable, which defeats the purpose of having them.*UPDATE*With the cold weather they have completely stopped working. It emits a faint beep then dies. Don't waste your $$$

Works Wonder!! But wire short for trucks
greatest price. and they work great too. the beeper is loud (but i do have it in my dashboard).only thing was i have a 2001 Lariat F150, the wire is too short so i extended it with some 16 gauge wire..took me 4 hrs to install it and run it Safely/Perfectly from the back of the truck to the dashboard following the stock wires in the truck already as a reference.
