Exactly what I hoped for
Update: I’ve just ordered a second pair of these shoes, as I love them so much and am afraid they’ll stop making them. So far, I’ve run about 20 miles in them, gone on a few seven to ten mile hikes on pavement and trail, and I bicycle in them, too. I also wear them to the shops and at work. There is no wear at all (one wouldn’t expect any, of course), and they are so friggin’ comfortable. I am overjoyed that they cause me absolutely no pain and that they have indeed helped me improve my gait. The shoes I originally bought for getting back into running, Merrell Andora 2s, caused pain in my knee. They were “high stack” with a toe-heel drop and as I’ve learned, such deceptively comfortable shoes lead to injury as they encourage bad form (that is, if you’re like me and don’t really know how to run).Original review:So relieved that the size is perfect! I usually wear a U.K. size 4, but ordered a 3.5 based on my feet being 22.25 cm and the Merrell size chart. I’ve gone for a couple short runs already (just over a mile each) on a nature trail, and they were comfortable and light. I also found myself not heel-striking, as I did when I wore over-engineered trainers, and so I think my gait will improve wearing these. I’m going to gradually increase my distance, so my muscles can get used to them, but I felt great wearing them. Very pleased. Of course, if they fall apart in a week, I shall amend this review.

Nice shoes with a natural fit
I bought this to replace my worn down 8 year old Vivobarefoot shoes. I used them primary for indoor exercises and they served me well, but didn't like the newer version so decided to replace them with a pair of Merrell's barefoot shoes.I've had other Merrell shoes but these came up larger - I'd buy half a size smaller as my feet seem to swim around in these and I've been able to put them on without having to undo the laces 😀Having said that, they're very comfortable. I like the rubber by the toes and the natural width fit, along with the Vibram sole which works well on tiled floors. I will probably buy another pair I can wear out and about.

Brilliant, natural feeling, comfortable training shoes.
Love these trainers. Having discovered natural running, these are perfect for people that want to feel the road and enjoy running with no heavy feet coffins at the end of your legs.Materials are soft, light and comfy (though I got the odd blister from rubbing (which is normal for me in any shoe to be honest).Shame these shoes are normally pricey (more money for less shoe) - but you can find the odd diamond deal on here, such as on this case.My only issue with these is when going down hill on a run, the toe box seems to lack the support and scrunches up sometimes. But, the grip and overal comfort make this manageable. Cracking shoes, and I shall buy more. Not sure how long the rubber sole will last, done only around 50 miles and the tread does show some wear already.

Brilliant barefoot trainer
In the course of making the transition to more barefoot style / zero drop / minimal shoes, I have been surprised at how expensive some of the items can be so was delighted to find these at a reduced price here. Merrell are of course well known for making excellent quality shoes and these are no exception. They're super comfy and you can really feel the ground whilst still knowing you're protected from any sharp items. Lots of space to wiggle toes and they fit perfectly around my slightly wide size 5s. Great value for money and really happy with these.

Perfect fit and comfortable.
As soon as I put these on, I loved them. They fit perfectly and look so much nicer than in the photo. I just did my first jump rope workout in these and they were very comfortable.

Not built to last, would not recommend
Wish I could write a good review as they look great, and felt so comfortable for standing and walking. However after only a couple of times walking in them, hadn't even got around to running in them, they started splitting, with the sole peeling away from the uppers on both feet at the toe bend. Real shame as it feels like Merrell are using cheaper and cheaper materials which are not able to last, I now no longer buy Merrell walking flip-flops that used to be Fab for the same reason, they just are not built to last any more. Love my Xero shoes for the barefoot feel, they may not look as pretty, but I have done trail runs for months and still as good as new, if a little rough looking.

The best value barefoot transition shoe!
I love these shoes. They're my first pair of 'barefoot' shoes so I'm still alternating them with thicker-soled shoes but I felt instantly comfortable with these. I tried two other pairs, a Vivo Barefoot and a different style Merrell, both of which were returned due to being a poor fit, but got on with these straight away. They are slightly large around the side of my big toe, leaving a bit of a gap, but I do have a mis-shapen toe joint/bunion so that may be partly why, and I hope this will help give room for natural toe spread once I up my distances in them.Oh, and the colour is just perfect for me, so cheery that I smile every time I see these even though they're now covered in mud!

Had promise, fell apart
These shoes are comfortable and if you are used to barefoot running they are great. Warning - you feel every lump and bumb. However echoing other reviewers, they fell apart within a month. It's such a shame as they had so much promise!

Advertised but no stock.
Ordered a pair of women's shoes, size 9.5. Received men's shoes, shoes size 9.5. Returned them. They did not have women's in stock, so a complete waste of my time.

Wrong Size
I LOVE Merrell shoes, was excited to get this shoe. It says size 6 which is what I wanted, I received a size 6.5. I went back and looked at the item and it in small says 6.5 so the information on the product description is conflicting. I've issued a replacement and am hoping the correct size comes this time.
