How small is the baby size? My LO is almost 1 year but she is in 3-6 clothing.

I used these for my 1 year old and she was in 12 or 18 months sizes and it worked for that. It has multiple snapping places so it is rather adjustable.

What is the width of the band? Would it be able to go through toddler pant belt loop?

Sorry not sure the width of the band however it worked on my grandbabies pants when she was a toddler and yes it goes through the belt loops

These are fantastic but are getting a little snug with the belt loop distances in 5T. Anyone know if they come in larger sizes or other brands?
