I purchased this fan for our bedroom because it was one of the few decent looking fans that still has normal screw in light bulb sockets with this being said I skeptical of a few things, 1.The look: would it be more industrial looking than modern since I was aiming for a modern look 2. Air movement: while looking at the Amazon listing for this fan I could not locate the exact cfm 3 Pricing: was this fan really worth the higher price tag compared to other fans. After installing this fan today I got the answers I was looking for. This fan is perfect for a modern look/setting, the air movement from it is amazing, and it was definitely worth the price. This fan is very well built, quiet, and blades are well balanced so it doesn't hardly shake even on the highest setting. There are a few things that I found while installing that is worth noting 1. The fan down rod is 1/2 inches in diameter so if you need a longer down rod than the supplied 6 inch one and you go to your local hardware store let's say Home Depot and buy one like I did you will soon realize that the down rod you bought is probably 3/4 inches in diameter and is to big and that they don't sell the 1/2 inch version that you need. 2 The wires coming from the fan motor itself needs to be cut shorter before wiring to the transmitter or else the cover plate will be next to impossible to get over the junction box, wiring, and transmitter. 3 This fan has no pull chains for the light or fan functions. 4 The remote control looks old school and kinda outta place for this type of fan but it works flawlessly.

Excellent fan. We loved the style and design of this fan when we purchased it, and it is even nicer in person. The detail on the blade connectors and smaller details really make this fan stand out from more average fare. Install was great and when mounted without a downrod it works well with our relatively short 8ft ceilings. Fan is quiet even on higher settings -- no rattle or whine so far. The light is bright enough for a decent sized room but I will likely look to increase the wattage (or at least find a higher lumen bulb) soon. Remote works fine, but is a bit large for what it is.

The fan is very attractive, runs quietly, gives a nice breeze & ample lighting. My only dislike.... is the remote control. It looks like it's from 1980. It's unnecessarily large and doesn't go with the modern style of the fan.Besides that, I'm pretty happy with my choice.I did have a 2 issues with the fan...The amazon Q&A for this fan, said the light was dimmable. The instruction booklet also says it's dimmable... But the light didn't dim.My fan was also shipped to me, with one bent fan blade bracket. Making it impossible to balance the fan.But my issues were easily resolved, because Lamps Plus customer service was excellent!I had no trouble reaching a friendly human, who was accommodating to my needs. They quickly shipped out a new set of brackets & dimmable receiver... no problem! Thanks Lamps Plus, I really appreciate you!

My fan was very well packaged and arrived promptly with no damages. It did ship in the retail box only which was no big deal.I installed this fan in my new entertainment room which has a 9 ft. High ceiling and measures 18' x 20'. The fan replaced an existing light fixture which is located in the center of room. Air flow is excellent.There are 3-speeds which include Low, Medium and High on the remote. Low setting is sufficient as of now for myself. Medium and High will throw a LOT of air, lol, and quietly at that. And, there is a reversal switch on top of fan to change rotation from clockwise to counter.Unless you plan to change your wall switch to control your fan and light you will need to leave your wall switch ON and use the remote to control the fan/light. There are NO chains hanging from this fan. This is working out fine for me.All in all, no complaints and I recommend it if your wanting an eye catching, modern ceiling fan that looks absolutely fantastic and functions superbly.

I absolutely love this fan. It is beautiful, stylish, and quiet. In addition the service from Lamps Plus is the best. I called to check on maximum wattage based on other reviews and spoke to Stephanie. She checked it out and called me back and told me to stick with what was included because that was the safest thing to do. I had to call back again because my light and fan turned on and off at will. I spoke to Katalin and she put a tech order in for me and Efren from tech-support called me back. Come to find out that my handyman did a great job of putting up the fan but he did not change the factory setting which was causing the problem. Not only did Efron explain what had to be done but he sent me an email with a picture of it. I couldn’t have asked for better service and I would definitely buy from Lamps Plus again.

Love this fan. Looks great in my kitchen (white cabinets, black hardware, stainless steel handles on appliances. Went up with no problem. Did not use the bulbs that came with it though as they did not provide enough light. Put in one 100W daylight eco smart LED. Very happy.

Now mind you, my husband is an electrician for over 40 years. Installing alarms, and fire equipment, he is an electrician that can pull a permit to do work on the construction site for new buildings. He’s no dummy. However, he worked 4 hours on trying to get remote to connect and work. And it won’t.

Fan looks great and works perfectly. A bit of the hangup on the install due to the instruction missing the step about removing the motor plate. But other than that the install was easy. I did change out the bulbs to LEDs since I do not like CFLs.
