It looks nice. That’s the only good thing about it.The people that are saying that this bed is sturdy obviously aren’t having great sex on it. We had to use additional screws and brackets to strengthen the center support legs. They say you should use a box spring, but if you do it makes the bed 4 feet high and the box spring is completely visible above the side rails and drawers which just looks ridiculous.You can make this bed work for you, but just expect to have to add to the frame. Oh and make sure you have power tools as there are very few pre drilled holes.

We read all the reviews very carefully before purchasing, and the biggest concern was the support for our bed. So we got the Zinus Annemarie Solid Wood Bed Support Slats / Fabric-Covered, also on Amazon, to go with this, and it's been working out for us just fine within the last month. The instructions are easy to follow. Highly, highly recommend you assemble this with a power drill. Saves a lot of time and headache! Even where the instructions call for a screw driver, just use a power drill, because it will also make the assembly more sturdy and less probable for things to fall apart. (One of the support slats for the side rail fell off this morning, because we had originally used a screw driver for that piece, but we just took the power drill to place it back on, and it's tighter and sturdier.) The headboard, the color (beige) and overall design are very nice, and the storage drawers are able to contain so much. We put winter clothing in there, extra bedding and sheets, etc. Plenty of room. Our bedroom floor is carpeted, so the wheels glide over easily. Our mattress is a thick, premium one that did not require a box spring. Great value, and we are glad we got this. Hoping to have this for as long as possible. Someone else in their review mentioned it's "not meant for great sex." We've been having great sex on this, and I believe the key is in making sure you reinforce the support slats and choose the RIGHT mattress for you that does not require a box spring.

I love a puzzle as much as the next person...but seriously.. what kinda sick joke is it to label the parts A-P on the instructions and then NOT label the pieces?!Assembly took all day but I love the end result!The other negative reviews, I think are written by idiots... the details CLEARLY state you need slats or a low profile box spring. I ran to lowes and got 4 slats for $36 1"x4" and 6 feet long for my queen size that fit just fine (to go lengthwise perpendicular to the horizontal supports that come with the bed). I also bought a low profile linenspa memory foam 4" mattress to act as my low profile box spring. All of that together is the foundation to put my sleep number bed on and its amazing! This bed frame hides the pump,hoses and everything perfectly.Bed is perfectly stable. With the instructions being a hot mess I'm guessing folks messed up the assembly and ended up with an unstable bed.You WILL need a power screw driver for this. Installing the casters was the hardest part there was not any pre drilled holes at all. DO NOT use a drill and bit. If you go drilling holes in particle board obviously you're gonna have troubles! And this bed is 'ahem' sturdy.But I gotta say the other reviews gave me a great pick up line so thanks! "Hey I got this new bed and I'm not sure it's sturdy, will you help me test it out" 😆Also the castors/ wheeled drawers roll just fine on carpet!Amazing bed for the price. Definitely love this bed! I have been using it for a couple months. Everything works out great. It is modern, stylish and fits well with my room (or other types of modern rooms). The materials made the bed feel warm.Shipping was quick. Came in three boxes, which makes each box not too heavy and easy to carry upstairs for a small girl like myself.Drawers are useful as additional storage, and they are easy to pull out with wheels.It’s fairly easy to assemble. I just wish the instruction paper could be a little bigger. It should be noted that you would need to get a bed box or slats separately

I read reviews before deciding to purchase. This is a great platform bed for the price. Just have to reinforce it because it comes with as my husband describe them as “sticks” that won’t support the weight of our pillow top mattress. It took my husband about 3-4 hours to reinforce and put together. Oh and by the way, we are having great sex on this bed with no issues. My husband is 6’4 about 260 lbs and I’m 5’8 and 180 lbs for reference and the bed holds our combined weight.

The overall look of this headboard/frame is great and the storage drawers are a decent size. Assembly was very easy. The support structure is severly lacking integrity. It only comes with three 1.5 inch wide pine slats, each of which has a middle post. We didn't use a boxspring as it would cover some of the headboard after adding the mattress. We got plywood to lay down ontop of the slats under our mattress to provide better support. After only 3 months in use all of the slat posts have either split in half or continue to fall over with added weight. We had to replace and add additional slats. So long as you are handy and don't mind additional work/costs this bed isn't bad.
