GREAT FOR EVERYONE
I bought this the end of December 2020. I put this on the right side of the patio door--about 2.5 feet from the floor. I selected this one b/c the supports are below the actual perch so she would not crash into them jumping onto the perch or play with them while on the perch and possible dislodge the whole thing. My cat (bengal/main coone runt--that is NOT a runt anymore at 12.5 lbs) was not sure about this at first. She is so cautious about new things that I had to kind of "guide her through" jumping on it the first couple of times by hoisting her on it. She started out jumping on from the sides to avoid crashing into the glass, but now she is confident and jumps on it dead on perpendicular to the glass patio! OH--she gained at least 4 lbs. since I first got it and it is still strong and sturdy. (I think she actually doubled her weight since I got it--Mom loves giving her treats...)She has been trained to jump up there to let my parents (and me) get her collar on her to let her out the door. (At their age, Mom and Dad can't safely bend over, and Mom CANNOT pick her up anymore). Now she jumps up there and meows to signal her desire to go out the door-- so I guess we are now trained! But she also jumps up there to just look out into the back yard or sunbathe.Very Sturdy and Dependable. I have only taken the seat off the glass once to clean it, and that was in the Spring. The suction cups have not come off on their own. The metal support "stick" inserts stay in just fine. The only time they fell out was when I bumped it or pulled them out to completely close the blind a couple of times. When I did that it laid flat to the glass until I reinserted the support sticks. They have never come out when Gracie has jumped on it from any angle, so far. I live on the border of climate zone 4 and 5 if you are wondering about temperature changes. And I live in Iowa, so the temps change A LOT.I am planning to get another one to put on the middle glass panel of my patio door, at a higher height, so she can jump from the first one to that one and get some of her jungle energy worked out! Or to put in the glassed in front porch for her. It is cheaper alternative to the wooden cat shelves I see on "My Cat From Hell."I hope that information helps you!

👍🏻👍🏻
He loves this, so that’s all that really matters. Fairly easy to assemble; I recommend reading thru the instructions leaflet BEFORE you even begin. I soaked the suction cups in very hot water for a few minutes and lightly patted them mostly dry before applying to the glass, then pressed all of the water and air out with my fingers. I gave it a good hour or two before letting him sit on it, and have zero issues. We have a large wooded backyard, and being up a little higher (it’s on the upper level of our home) (and compared to just sitting in the floor looking out) he’s able to oversee the entire backyard and now spends most of the day napping, bird watching and squirrel 🐿️ gazing. 😂. One thing important to note about this particular perch- most of the ones that I’ve preserved were to wide (horizontally) to fit the window. The glass on my French doors is 23” wide, and most perches are 24”, 26” or 28” so this is perfect. I’m ordering another for a different room. He’s an indoor only cat, so being able to see everything that’s going on makes him very content. 👍🏻

Kitty Approved
My cat took forever to warm up to it, but now she loves it! The steel arms that connect to the suction cups were the hardest to figure out. I still have to push them back through the holes in the suction cups when they start getting lose from her jumping on the perch, but I've had it up for about a year and it's still holding strong!

Good, but make sure it makes sense with the window you have in mind
It seems solidly built, and I did not have any problem with the instructions. The thing I kind of got bit by- I didn't think through about the windows that I was planning to use it with. Most of the photos you see are all close up, which doesn't give you appropriate context. Since it's a support from below, not hung from above configuration, that means the deck that the cat is on is another 18" higher than the bottom supports. So in practice, unless you are using it with a window that already has something else for the cat to use to get onto it from, the decking will be quite high off the ground. If the bottom of the window is around waist height, it means the cot part will be chest height on an average height person. While a cat can make that jump from the ground, they may not want to. So you will only want to use this either with windows that are closer to the ground, already near other furniture, or something like a sliding glass door where you can place it much lower.

Love this! Great product.
I've had this product for over a year now and it still works wonderfully. It even supports my 2 cats at the same time. Highly recommend.

Good while it lasted
My cat used this for about 10 months before it ripped. He did love lounging and sleeping in the window. He is a big guy (about 15 lbs). Overall I feel like it was worth the purchase. I just wish it lasted longer. The suction cups did come loose every few months but it was easy to reattach.
