L'eggs Women's Profiles High-Waist Mid-Thigh Shapewear

I read the reviews first, and saw that it runs a bit small, so I ordered the XL, just to be safe, and i'm glad I did! When you first open this, you'll be shocked by how tiny this looks, but don't be fooled. It's pretty difficult to get into it the first time, but next time onwards, it's pretty much okay.It's a very good shaper, and it actually does keep your tummy in pretty darn well, much better than some Wacoal shapers I bought which were way pricier. In any case, yes this is quite long, on the thighs, and very high on the waist, and it is actually very good for me, since I needed one which was long, plus it will be good for tall people. The good thing is that it does not roll up at all on the thigh, and it also has a silicone lining on the waist which means it does not roll down too.

FOR ME THE IDEA OF CONTROL GARMENTS IS TO SMOOTH AND LET YOUR CLOTHES LAY BEAUTIFULLY AS THEY WERE DESIGN. NO-ONES WANTS MORE BUMPS AND LINES ADDED THAN YOU NATURALLY HAVE THATS WHAT SPANX DO CREATE LINES AND ROLLS. LOVE THE HIGH NO ROLL WAIST THE THIGH BAND COULD BE IMPROVED, IT WILL ROLL IF U HAVE HEALTHY THIGHS....I FOUND A TRICK FOR THE THIGH JUST SNIP THE BINDING BAND ON THE BOTTOM ON THE INSIDE OF YOUR THIGH AND ITS ALL GOOD FROM THERE ..DON'T CUT TO HIGH BCS IT WILL RUN ...THE ONLY THING BETTER THAN THIS ITEM WAS THE L'EGGS PROFILE HIGH WAIST CAPRI VERSION WHICH HAD NO BINDING ON THE THIGH CREATED A NICE SMOOTH BEAUTIFUL LINE...HOPE SOME SMART L'EGGS EMPLOYEE GETS TO TO BRING THAT ONE BACK IT WAS PERFECTION FOR ALL SEASONS. I DON'T KNOW WHO THINKS A MUFFIN TOPS AND LINES BILGES ARE CUTE....IT'S NOT ON ANY LEVEL!!:( RESTRICTING GARMENTS WHICH CREATE THE MUFF AND SHOULD BE BAND A CRIME AGAINST WOMEN!!! BOYCOT THE OTHER'S NOW BUY "L'EGGS PROFILES FIRM CONTROL" AND ALSO REQUEST THE "HIGH WAIST CAPRI " BE BROUGHT BACK!!!!! THAT'S WHAT I HAVE ON IN THE PIC.****ALSO SO COMFORTABLE YOU CAN WEAR ALL DAY EVEN TO THE GYM.

I have been wearing these shapers for years, and love them. I used to buy them at CVS whenever I had coupons, but can only find them on Amazon now. They're my "go to" undergarment when I need shaping help - they smooth everything out with no seams and because of the high waist, they don't add extra tightness around the belt line. I have a selection of Spanx, none of which are as comfortable, and don't do as good a job as the L'eggs Profiles shapers (some of the Spanx brand shapers have seams, which are very visible through chiffon and jersey fabrics). Easy to care for - these go in the washer and dryer with my regular clothing loads, no special care needed. The price for these is great, too - I never feel guilty when I have to replace a pair!

For the record, i'm 5'7" and 140 lbs, about a size 8-10 depending. Plus, i'm apple shaped and have "chicken legs" basically, and very thin thighs. Well, after reading all the reviews, seemed like the consensus was that these ran small, so not only did i order up, (honestly, i'd have chosen MEDIUM if i hadn't perused all the reviews) i ordered up TWO sizes, to an XL (extra large) in the Nude color. And even in XL i could barely get these past my thighs! What the *@#*%$?! Like, i'm seriously shocked. Did i just get a really badly made pair? How are people putting these things on?! I had to double check to make sure i didn't accidentily order XS (extra small), and nope, i didn't! Plus, they don't even come in XS! What the heck. Even on the back chart on the package, for someone my height and weight, they recommend the Medium size! Either I got a bad pair or i'm a freak of nature.

FIRST OFF, this product DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES! It slims you in all the right places, it hides little body flaws.... It's VERRRRY tight, which is exactly what I wanted/expected from this product.HOWEVER, it is a project getting on, you better make sure you don't need to use the bathroom once it IS on, and I had a problem with the dreaded back fat!!!!!! The part that goes around your ribs has some rubber like material in it to keep it in place.... it worked okay, but occasionally would bunch up and cause (dun dun dunnnnnn) the dreaded back fat! It takes me about 5-10 minutes to get this thing on and in place. If you need to use the bathroom or take it off for any reason during the day, expect an at least 7 minute break minimum to do so. I don't wear it often... in fact, I haven't worn it in about a month for these reasons. Overall, it's a nice, cheap product that does what it says.... but it's difficult to adjust to daily use.

I had a pair of hanes shapers that were great but Amazon.com no longer sells. I therefore purchased L'eggs profiles and they proved to be very uncomfortable due to tight fit; I purchased them in a size XL and they are still too tight. I couldn't wait to take them off when I got home! I wanted to throw them away in the garbage can immediately since they felt so uncomfortable. I like to wear a shaper that you don't even know you have on, but this one talks discomfort to you while you wear it. You can't think about other things because you're too busy thinking about how you can't wait to take it off.After reviewing many other shapers, I will be ordering maidenform flexees since they received very decent reviews, they sound as if they'll be much more comfortable[I hope].
