Rockport Men's Editorial Offices Plain Toe

I have purchased brands other than Rockport over the years but have always been disappointed...trying to get cheaper shoes or for other reasons (kohl cash)...The price of these was amazing as I generally expect to pay about $100 for Rockports. They are very comfortable and light as I am on my feet a lot. I have worn them a week now and am very pleased. VERY GOOD AMAZON PURCHASE.

I have large and wide feet, so I always have trouble finding shoes. I wore these shoes daily and they lasted about a year. Being over 200lb (even over 100kg), that was longer than I had expected. The shoes looked sharp, were extremely comfortable, and I got complements on them, and it was just the insoles that had worn out.

Bought these shoes expecting the Rockport name to give me a quality shoe that would last for several years with good care. Well, after only wearing them for four months the sole on one foot has completely split open on the bottom. Discovered it when my foot got soaked from walking in the rain. I am extremely disappointed and, though they are still wearable and look brand new on the top, I will not be able to ever wear them if there is rain/wet forecast. Also disappointing is that a defect like this doesn't allow me to replace them according to Amazon policy. I don't think anyone who would spend the money on this shoe, with this brand name, would expect to get less than 4 months of use.Honestly, if it wasn't for this. I love the shoes. They were a bit painful to break in but they look great and are now very comfortable.

Bought these for my husband who does white dress and tie for 3 days a week at work, but has one day casual then Friday jeans day. These shoes work with casual pants and jeans too. Husband says they are comfortable and he is picky, picky on looks so they did work for him. They are true to size because if they had been medium instead of a narrow, they would have been too big. He is between 10.5 and 11 long but at an 11 he is narrow. I bought the narrow and he was pleased with the fit. They look like real suede.

I purchased these as an alternative to the Northfield Oxfords which were very comfortable but the rubber sole wore down too fast. The sole on these shoes, while more durable than the Northfield, split across the ball of both shoes within three months of wear. I am a copier service tech and only use these for work which involves walking in the normal business environment and kneeling etc. when servicing a machine. I only wore them every other business day to allow them to breathe and alternate with another pair of shoes which equates to around 30 days of actual use. A shame really as I found them super comfortable from the get-go. As a consequence I have now ordered a pair of Nunn Bush Baker St. Oxfords to see how they perform.Edit: After a bit of research, I have discovered that soles made of injected PU (Polyurethane) have a 'shelf life' that varies according to production methods. I suspect the shoes I purchased must have been at the end of their shelf life and that was the major contributing factor to why the soles on both shoes split after less than 3 months alternate-day wear.

These shoes are OK, but you should be aware that the leather on this is pretty dull. If you want to wear them as a casual shoe, they are fine, but putting this shoe with a suit or tie makes you look like a defendant, because they aren't shoes you would wear with dress slacks, you would wear these with Khaki's. The soles are rubber-bottom.

My husband has been buying Rockport shoes for many years. They're most comfortable and they look great! I can always order myself and know they're going to fit him perfectly. He does a lot of walking and standing at his job, so is very important that he wears shoes that are going to be very kind to his feet.

I got this and the Margin to try them out. Both this and the Margin have the Adiprene but it's not listed in both. I verified this with Rockport support department.This shoe fits great and provides good support. I used it on several days a week (alternating weekly between this and the Editorial). They are comfortable.
