Needle Felting for Beginners: How to sculpt with wool

Very informative & easy to follow with clear & concise explanations/instructions. A must have for anyone starting Needle Felting. Includes how to make 3D animals, small landscapes & people with step by step projects. Includes pictures of shapes & templates. I’ve only joined started Needle Felting recently & it made me confident to do my own design/project from scratch. I did a 3D pup based on a photo of a family dog

I'm a total beginner to needle felting, my daughter has given me some equipment & wools, & I needed a book that was straight forward & easy to follow. This is an excellent book, it is well written, in simple easy to follow terms. There are plenty of pictures, which are clear & easy to follow. I've already started to work through the simple techniques, & I'm very pleased with the results. I like the notes telling me how to solve problems, without having to start again from scratch. The book has a variety of projects from simple to more advanced, so this will keep me busy for quite awhile. I would recommend this book to any one starting this craft.

Lots of projects to try. Plenty of photos to show each stage. Ideal for someone who wants to try needle felting for the first time or someone with a little experience. Needle felting uses sharp barbed needles. Caution is required and possibly best for 16+

I have never needle felted before and my husband bought me a fabulous set with everything i needed to get started. However, there were no instructions so I looked online for ideas and spotted this book. I’m old school and like printed step by step instructions and this was perfect. It lists all the equipment you need, has templates and detailed instructions for all the basic shapes you need to make, and has some gorgeous animals for you to try. If like me you are a complete beginner it will take patience and time to perfect the skills but this book has definitely helped me with its clear photographs and simple steps.

I really like this book as someone new to needle felting. What I really like is it gives you six or seven projects to work on, but they very clearly increase in difficulty enabling you to improve your skills one step at a time, so it starts with simple shapes and at the end builds to a dog with an internal wire frame.

Nice item you left it next door at 11 told you before I'm 11 a they had to bring someone this before and stuff ruined in rain no wrapping on so had to just give to friends loose please deliver to 21a not the garage next door.mine is between 11 and 15 as the people before didn't like 13 for a number.it was lucky it wasn't raining early hours or would have been ruined three books came in one parcel

It's written in a way that makes it easy to follow, good picture that help in trying to picture what you're creating. Have not noticed any obvious errors.

This book is loaded with a lot of ideas, instructions, photos, and advice. Though my work is very different, I am picking up lots of tips that I can and will use in my own needle felting. Glad I found this book. I'll be turning to it over and over again.
