These fittings saved the day as well as time and money. I would have usually just bought two different fittings and Frankenstein-steined one together that would work, but I ran across these and they were exactly what I needed. Save your money and the hassle of looking for something else, these are your best bet.

The description doesn't mention that this has a 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 fitting in the package. I had to rearrange my setup since I wanted 4 5/16 fittings.

I used these to connect my new nylon fuel lines to the metal lines coming from the engine. They worked great with no need to heat the nylon lines. I did have to remove one of these connections and although it was easy to un-connect, I had to buy a new union connection as the nylon bushing was deformed and not reusable and the steel bushing was stuck on the steel fuel line (had to cut it off).

I used this item to fix a rusty fuel line on a Venture minivan. It is the least expensive way I know of to mate the high pressure nylon line to a steel line. Other items will be needed to complete this kind of job. NOT recommended for folks with limited knowledge of how to engineer a do-it-yourself fuel line!

Worked like a charm. Had absolutely no problems. I used both the 5/16" & 3/8". Now my '96 S10 has all nylon lines going to the tank. " RUSTPROOF" I also used the Doorman fuel filter plastic push on fittings & compression fittings for nylon lines & upgraded the fuel filter. No tools needed to change fuel filter now.

Worked well for going from 5/16 stainless straight pipe to 5/16 nylon straight pipe. No leaks, if you have never tried a compression fitting repair before don't be intimidated. Make sure you use a pipe cutter with a wheel and lightly sand the face of the cut with automotive sand paper (stainless line). This kit included a 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 fitting.

I am annoyed that I am now returning this item because it came up in my search for 3/8 unions but I somehow missed that it only comes with a single 3/8 union and not three. It comes with three unions, but they are variously sized.

Very nice set. Very useful when you gotta replace you fuel lines. Comes in 3 sizes and most cars uses all of them.

I used the 5/16" adapter on a 2012 xterra. The gas line rusted where the nylon was attached to the metal line ( was not protected with a plastic coating at the time of manufacture like the rest of the gas line. This fitting worked extremely well and was quick to install.

It's an excellent quality product for connecting your nylon fuel lines to steel fuel lines. I used when the connector rusted off.
