Great amibo
I get the Japanese import amiibos because I’m some times they can be a little less expensive and they still do the same functions. I got this for my brother as a gift.

Good thing there is no region lock.
Was a bit curious if Amiibos were region locked (Found out today they were not) but regardless I wanted my boy Luigi. No defects, amiibo looks fine and works too. All that is left to train it. 10-24-2015 UPDATE TO REVIEW BECAUSE ODDLY NO SEPARATE REVIEWHappy that my blue bomber came in, really like the detail on him, unlike Ike..still think that it could have been a bit more detailed.

Great product, but not mint condition
It is a great product the amiibo works on the switch and it isn’t region locked it works in Canada. The Japanese writing is really cool. However if you’re on the hunt for a mint condition in the box, I don’t recommend. I’m unsure if it was the producer or the shipping but the box took a lot of damage and for that reason it loses one star. That is why the Luigi amiibo - Japan Import Is a 4 star

Compatible with the Nintendo Switch
We own a Nintendo Switch and initially I was afraid that this product, which was built for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, will not work on the Switch. There was nothing in the forum to indicate it shouldn't work. Took a leap of faith, bought it, and it works! What a relief because my children were really looking forward to it.
