I have bought 3 of the 6 scents so far and no review really did an in-depth scent description so I'm gonna be the change I want to see in the world. (Eventually I'll order the other 3 and describe those but i can't justify dropping $90 for 3 candles lmao) Review for the candle itself: It's HUGE and heavy in a nice thick frosted votive. It burns cleanly and evenly WITH THE EXCEPTION of right at the beginning, my VR+O candle had slight tunneling due to a wick not being in perfect position. This can be fixed by wrapping some aluminum foil around the top, like a little reverse funnel/tent, which bounces heat back down to the wax encouraging it to melt. Once the candle is even, remove the foil! I didn't need the foil once I burned about 1/5 inch to 1 inch. The S+J never needed the fix. Make sure the candle melts all the way to the edge before you put it out, or it'll start tunneling. The candles last a LONG time. I bought 2 in the middle of August, and while I haven't been burning them every day, I'd estimate that each candle burns for about 65+ hours. They clean out easily too. When they're on the very last drop of wax and then self extinguish, just take a paper towel and wipe the inside out. The wick holders should be very easy to remove as well! Now you have stylish containers for whatever you want! SCENT REVIEW!!! ---French Riviera: This smells very "Aquatic". Described as "An ozonic fruity fragrance starts with coconut waters, peach, sea salt, ozonic top notes. Heart notes are aquatic florals, sweet herbal, tea leaves, and base notes are coastal woods, amber, vanilla, tonka bean." The notes that stand out the most are the sea salt and ozone notes. It's quite a fresh scent. The aquatic florals come next, not too strong which I like. Sometimes aquatic florals can be overpowering and almost headache inducing. Lastly, the vanilla and amber are the scents that linger the most, but its definitely more Vanilla than Amber. If you've ever smelled 'Dancing Waters' by Bathandbodyworks, imagine that scent but make it luxe with a little more sweetness. ----Velvet Rose and Oud: This is a floriental, with more of the emphasis placed on the floral. If you don't like rose, this isn't for you! Described as "The tender roses send forth the elegant scent developed by saffron, cinnamon and geranium while the ouds, leather and labdanum bring out the lasting fragrance of warmth and richness." The two major notes in this are the rose, and the oud. It smells very feminine, and the oud isn't too overpowering the scent at all. The scent that lingers is a subtle blend of the two. I didn't smell a ton of saffron or cinnamon but there was a hint of the leather present. ----Sandalwood and Jasmine Described as "Embellished by precious sandalwood & cedar, the fragrance is sensuously mixed with spices, jasmine sambac and orange blossom to recall a natural pleasure." Sandalwood is the major note, almost taking over the entire candle (which I love). It's a softer sandalwood so it isn't going to be strong and heavy, and the jasmine is present as well to keep things interesting. It is NOT a strong jasmine smell, so if you were buying this to get more floral, look elsewhere. This is my favorite of the 3 so far and I look forward to getting the other 3 down the road to update this review.

Great scent. Long lasting.

Pro's: This candle really is huge. It's a bucket of candle, and it can fill an entire room with scent. It's a 3 wick candle, and the 3 wicks do melt the entire top surface of wax, which maximizes the scent output. Greater molten wax surface area=more potent scent release. The ceramic vase it comes in really is very pretty. I'm planning on using mine for an orchid, if I can ever use the entire thing in this lifetime. Con's: I'm not in love with the scent. It smells a little like baby powder, which I'm not a huge fan of. With that said, most cheap candles give me headaches. This candle does not. There is nothing about this candle that is sub-par, I just don't enjoy the smell as much as I could. Overall, this is a wonderful candle, and a potent air-freshener. If I had to take a single candle into the mountains with me to last over the winter until spring thaw, this one would be the one I'd take. The vase it comes in is beautiful, and unlike many other 3 wick candles, the wax melts evenly, as I've shown in one of my attached images. The smell could be a little more pleasant, but also I'm being picky.

I really looked forward to enjoying this gorgeous candle. Very disappointed due to none of the wick’s are able to stay lit. Little tiny skinny wicks for such a large candle. Now I have to buy a candle warmer to melt it instead of burning it! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I tend to purchase my old favorites over and over. (Dyptique Santal, Veluspa Orange Taracco), but I decided I wanted to see if I could reduce my candle spending. I started looking for a Rose candle with good reviews. I purchased the Rose Oud and can't believe how much I love it. I decided to take a chance and order the Iris Orange Blossom, but it just doesn't burn the way the Rose does. The Iris Orange Blossom needs to constantly be trimmed or it can smoke, and it doesn't have the same throw as the Rose Oud. The Rose specifically smells like the essence of a rose, but the Iris Orange Blossom doesn't smell like anything (weak throw). I am still burning the Iris Orange Blossom, I but I just ordered a second Rose Oud. The original candle lasted about 100 hours which makes these candles a great value.

I bought this candle mostly because the reviews about size intrigued me! I describe myself as a candle snob. I think I have nearly 50 Yankee candles in my home presently, with more than 10 La Jolie Muse candles, and a box full of other brands. I have a very large family room, as well as a huge bedroom. We like strong scents, and we like to actually smell them so 1 or 2 candles just doesn’t do the job. When I got my package, as soon as I opened it, I could smell this candle. It smells AMAZING! It reminds me of one of my husband’s cologne. The jar is a beautiful greenish blue (almost a teal). It’s not a thick glass but it is high quality. This is a jar that can be repurposed after the candle is gone. It is a very large jar so you have many options with whatever you choose to use it for. The big question- how does it burn? I cannot attest to how the candles burns because I cannot use any candle how it’s “traditionally” used. So- I have a very rare lung cancer (not from smoke), and any smoke irritates and makes me pretty sick, so after searching- I found a candle “warming” lamp here on Amazon. It looks like a lamp, and you put the candle on the base, then fit the lamp “shade” over the candle. Turn it on and the light, once on for a few minutes- melts the candle from the top down. NO smoke! And let me tell you- this has made every single candle I have last so long. The candle I have on it now- I use it every 2 days, and it has been on this for 7 MONTHS- and has just reached the halfway point of the jar. And the fragrance is just as strong as in the beginning. The 2 photos show the candle warmer I purchased on Amazon. All in all, this very large candle smells amazing, and honestly you’re not going to find a great smelling candle of this size at a better price. Worth every penny imho.

I really enjoy the scent of this candle. I got mint and eucalyptus. I do wish the scent carried farther, but it smells good. Seems to be burning evenly so far. I removed a star because the package had clearly been opened upon delivery and the box was quite damaged. I fully expected to see a partially used candle in there, but it seems new. I just feel like I got delivered a previously returned item rather than a brand new one. I will still likely buy another in the future.
