Fantastic shoe
Have 4 pairs of these, and they last around 2 years of daily use each. Good quality and fit. Often find them on discount here and buy extra pairs for 1/3 retail price.I find the inside heel wears out fast. I just buy the heel saver stickers and replace them every few months. Stops the heel lining from wearing out, and stops the heel from slipping as well. Makes the shoes last 4 times as long.

Best purchase!
This brand! I can't say enough. My first pair of these were used second hand, very lightly worn both my boys wore these for about 1year and they were still in good enough shape to give to a friend for her boy to wear when he lost his at my house. That's 4 kids (boys between age 4-6) worth of wear and tear. So, THIS pair above are the one I bought recently for my adult special needs son, 6+ft. Tall and has put on weight. He is heavy on shoes. He will walk the toes and heals off just about anything. These hold up to him! I used to have to buy two pairs of shoes for him just to get through one year during school because of how bad other brands build their shoes now. This brand will last him longer than a year or two I have no doubts on that! MADE TO LAST! MERELL DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING, DON'T COMPROMISE! LOYAL!

My Favorite Pair of Kicks
After 4 years, and around 2000 miles I had to finally replace this pair with the same shoe. They are rugged, built well, take a beating, and never came close to failing me. I would recommend these for work, play, outdoors, or just a low maintenance, daily beater.

Lasted 8 months
Very comfortable shoes for my husband. He walks all day for work and they've been great. There was no break in time needed. Sole isn't wearing down but the cloth is ripping now after 8 months. Price has gone up so idk if I'll order another pair or try something else.

Nice shoe - Runs a little small
Bought these shoes to go hiking in the Canadian Rockies. They are nice shoes, but they run a little small. This was especially evident from the toe pain when hiking downhill. I even changed into thin socks for a day of hiking and the shoes were still small. I would recommend these shoes, but consider buying 1/2 size larger than your regular size.

Never a surprise.
Merrell boots or shoes outstanding quality and fit. I have never been disappointed. I put in 6 ~ 9 K steps a day.Have now got flat feet and the orthotics fit well and my step count is getting back on track.

Durable & comfy
I work as a pool contractor and having reliable, durable shoes are a must. I love these shoes, especially with the Vibram bottoms. They dry quickly when wet (sometimes in front of a fan) overnight. They keep my feet cool, have good traction on sand, dirt, gravel and grass. They’re light and I will be buying more in the future.

I really like em
I needed a new pair of hiking shoes but I needed one below the 200.00 price range I normally buy at (avid hikers know what I mean). Thease in all honesty can compete with the elite.I have thus far takin them into the mountains and a island adventure.Actually slip resistant, comfy but not too much , its a hiking boot! A hiking boot.

Comfy out of the box.
I normally take a size 10 in shoes and boots but was not comfortable with going the recommended 1 size up. I chose the 10.5. The fit is perfect. Enough room to allow a medium thickness hiking sock to be worn. Or with the laces pulled tighter on the loops a thinner sock can be worn. These are the most comfortable, easily adjustable hiking shoes I have ever owned. Over 55 years I have had many shoes and boots for outdoor wear. The materials used look robust and well put together. Even the diagonal reinforcing has extra cushioning. The Toe protection is good for a reasonably light hiking shoe. The Vibram sole adding to this at both Toe and Heel. The laces seem fine to me but you do need to double bow them.During my first walk I found the front part of my Foot sliding about in them. I stopped and pulled the laces in tighter on the lower 3 loops and that cured the issue. Normally my feet sweat in trainer type shoes but even wearing wool socks on a warm day my feet stayed comfortable and dry.Obviously these are not waterproof and I no longer buy waterproof footwear. My feet get much to warm. I now prefer to wear a pair of Merino or Alpaca wool socks and put up with damp non smelly footwear that dries much faster.Doubt I will by any other make from now on.

Nicely made but not waterproof
Nicely made, comfortable with a great sole. However, after 6 months not waterproof or even water resistant walking in damp grass. Hope spraying them with Nikwax will help resolve the issue.
