Save a trip and DIY
Gets the job done. Nice alternative to going to the jeweler. Works awesome if you only need a half step. Works fine for a whole size but I feel like I was pushing it on a silver signet. All in all it is exactly what I needed.

Does not fit small rings
I couldn’t use it. My ring was too small to fit over the the tool itself. It was a 5 and a half. Very disappointed.Do not send me a replacement! Please just credit my payment method .I’ll just be returning another one.I’ve sent my ring to my jeweler.

Absolutely love it
Please look up youtube videos on how to use it. It's very simple. Just go slow when using this (I have read others may have gone too rough and snapped their rings). Best value for the money honestly.Pros: Saved me my wedding ring.Cons: Didn't know about this product earlier enough to save more rings I had.

Useful but limited.
No way to stand mandrel up so I can’t use to form rings with silver clay. Stretching tool only stretches size 8 and above.

Just what I needed.
The jeweler wanted $80 to stretch my 28 year old gold wedding band. I took a chance on the $16 solution and it worked well. Watch some YouTube videos first.

Works well, be careful
It works, but you have to be careful. I stretched one ring, slowly but surely. On the second ring, I felt overly confident and tapped too hard or fast and snapped it. Going to have to learn to be patient or understand the finesse it takes to do it correctly.

Great for the price
The price is great for a ring stretcher. The only gripe I have is that due to having to use a hammer with it (my arbor press isn't able to accommodate it's height) it can split your rings as the stretching is done in jolts which can tear an improperly anealed silver or copper coin ring unless you baby it well enough. Other than that it's great. Compared to paying over a hundred for the next type of stretcher this is the one to buy if you are a beginner and you've already spent a bunch of money on the coin punch, arbor press, and folding dies. This will let you make rings untill you can buy something better.

It broke one ring and couldn't stretch the other.
I tried to stretch 2 rings, both gold. I would not stretch the thicker ring. It started to stretch the thinner ring but only stretched it 1/2 a ring size before breaking it. I went slowly and removed the ring multiple times from the stretcher to see if it was changing size. Now I have the cost of getting the ring repaired at the jewelers. Save yourself the time, money and aggravation, take it to the jewelers.
