Laser Measure, Laser Distance Measure with Mute Function, for Pythagorean, Distance, Area and Volume Measuring, Safety Level-Class II, ＜1mW Power Output

I originally ordered this laser-measure to do rough estimates but not for making serious lumber cuts. When it arrived, I couldn’t resist putting it to the test versus my trusty tape measure. ***This thing has amazing accuracy! (See photos)*** Repeated measurements without moving the device seem to render the exact same result with no deviation. It’s easy to select your measurement reference from the base of the device or the front of the device. You can select Metric (Display:1.313m), Feet (4.308’), Inches (51-11/16”) and Feet-Inches (4’03”-11/16). And, YES, when you turn it off and turn it back on, it does remember the mode you last selected! If you forget and leave it on, it will turn itself off automatically to save your battery. The plastic case is quite solid and the buttons have a good quality feel. It comes with two AAA batteries, lanyard, belt clip, soft case and an instruction manual in multiple languages including English. I believe the manual covers everything you need to know, but this thing was so intuitive and easy to use that I was able to easily figure out all of the advanced options without reading the manual. The laser brightness for measurements is probably adequate for most indoor applications. Generally, if you can see the red dot you’ll get your measurement. Even when the red dot is barely visible, because of ambient light, the measurement seems to work fine. If you need outdoor measurements on bright sunny days, this probably isn’t the product for you. (It’s after dark when I’m writing this review, so I couldn’t resist going outside to push for a long distance measurement.) 179’01”-13/17 (photo) was the last of multiple measurements at different points along the white siding of a neighbor’s house. Generally, if you can see that red dot you’ll get your measurement. Next, I decided to use the advanced functions to measure my flagpole (about 30-1/2”) and Blue Spruce tree using the Pythagorean method (photos). (The built-in bubble level is handy for the 2nd of the three required measurements.) This is a really cool feature and it works quite well. Overall, I’m impressed with this laser-measure. For such an inexpensive product I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy, ease of use, features and build quality. Highly recommended!

I purchased because I'm a Realtor and I was looking for something that could give me a quick and easy room measurement. This fits the bill! Price was reasonable and the product is made with quality. I'm giving it 4 Stars because its a little tricky to figure out how to use. Directions weren't the greatest and since I've never used one before, it was a learning curve. Once I figured it out, it's a breeze and the measurements are spot on! Makes my job ohhhhhh so much easier than using a tape measure! :)

Easy to use and accurate for my needs. Has some issues outdoors in bright sun but this is covered in the manual. My only complaint is that this unit will always default back to meters when turned off and back on rather than remembering the last measuring units used.

I'm not going to lie with the stay at home order I bought a lot of stuff so I didn't have to go out. This was a hmm I wonder if this really works kind of purchase. I love this thing. It's accurate, easy and well fun to use. One of the best purchases I made out of boredom. You won't be sorry you ordered this item at all.

This Tacklife unit is one of the best that I found and works great! I'm in real estate, so measuring is essential. This little thing does all the leg work for you. Love how it does the square footage for me and will save it so I can blow through a house in short order. I also used it to measure the distance between two trees (130 ft) for a zip line. Great tool for a great price!

Such a great tool! I questioned a flooring company’s measurements for my home. So I purchased one after a little research. And not to my surprise the local company was off on measurements! Ended up saving over $300 because of this amazing tool

Quite simply, this is a piece of junk..it did not turn on right out of the box..you have to call for label, repack give to a driver, no one has time for this nonsense!

Great little unit for indoors measurements, once you get this thing into sunlight it errors our. Even in the garage with the door open I had issues with it. Other than that nice unit mine is off 1/16th of an inch on all measurements that checked with the good old trusty tap measure.
