Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Shampoo/Conditioner

This shampoo and conditioner is one of the best hair products I have ever used. For over a year I had been struggling with dry scalp. I have used every home treatment , anti dandruff shampoo and every "natural treatment" out there. We even put in a new water treatment unit. I didn't think my hair was dry and some of the products made my hair dry or very oily but the dry itchy scalp never improved. This was a new problem for me, the only thing I was doing differently is that I stopped coloring my hair. I am now a silver haired grandmother. I bought a travel size set of Alterna Caviar replenishing shampoo and conditioner to give it a try. It was pricey but much less than the regular size bottles. I liked it from the first shampoo. My hair felt silky and the shine incredible but best of all I thought my scalp was less dry and had fewer scales. I was dubious that the improvement would continue and that I would get build up from the conditioner. By the time I was coming to the bottom of the trial size I knew I would need to get the full sized bottles. I bought the 16 oz sizes with the pump and I am glad I did. I have fine hair and I usually can't use a conditioner on a daily basis, this product is totally different. I use it every day. My hair is soft but easily managed with a very nice shine but best of all, my dry scalp has cleared up. I never thought I would spend so much money on hair products but it has been worth every penny to me. I use very little and it should last me a long time.

The promises of this line is hair care are entirely accurate. Since beginning the use of their products, my scalp is healthier, my hair luxurious and smooth, and the ends are no longer dry & frizzy! I use about a nickel sized drop of both shampoo and conditioner…once a week! In between hair washes, I spray Caviar’s dry shampoo at the temples. My head always smells great and my hair looks healthy. Because of this routine, I believe the products will last a half a year to a year. Highly recommend this brand! Also, I purchased a boat bristle brush to brush my hair 100 strokes at night/morning to run natural oils throughout my long hair.

Creates softness & smells wonderful.

I got it because it claim to be healthy for your hair. Not sure it was my water from the tap or the shampoo itself. But I find it felt like it stripper my hair, knotted & dry while still under the shower. Couldn’t get my fingers through to wash all the shampoo out. This process took 5 minutes longer than normal for me. Without the conditioner it would be one big snail❣️ I have natural wave to my hair and this made my hair go straight. Yes it was soft & light. But list the body. After using the small travel size bottle, I really didn’t notice the difference in healthier hair. My body of the wave didn’t return each time washing it. For me I must use the extra conditioner to get my fingers through my hair after using this shampoo. To get back some manageable to the hair. I still notice after washing my hair, I have a hair catch for the tub. It was thick with my hair. I have thick hair and losing hair after washing is normal for me. But seeing 2x more in the trap it made me wonder is it as healthy as it claim? I’m not a hair person. Just the high cost of this shampoo & conditioner is questionable for me “is it worth it?”

i love it and expect big things.

I have only used the product for a few washes, so I cannot provide a complete review of the product. My hair feels clean after the shampoo. I would like to conditioner to leave my hair feeling more moisturized. Amazon shipped the product in one of it's bags so the caps on the bottle were dinged. I having a horrible time getting the conditioner out of bottle. This along is influencing my decision to purchase the product in the future.

The stuff is amazing but not much came in the 1.35 pkg of shampoo like it was not full. The conditioner was full. It's way over my price bracket for such a small amount so I will keep looking for something comparable.
